You stood on the ship, the wind blowing your hair.
Espeon sat down and watched the distance. Shinx sat down beside you to look out for them.
Suddenly, Shinx's tail glowed brightly, and its body began to send off small sparks.
You squint through the darkness, trying to see where they are. Shinx's light helps you see better.
Espeon waited calmly. It stood up quietly to prepare for battle. Shinx's body begins glowing brighter. You see them trying to break the barrier.
Perfect. This'll be fun. You think. You smile mischievously.
When they start coming in, you snap your fingers once. This is how you tell your Pokemon what to do when you don't want them to predict your Pokemon. You never told Friede about this tactic; however, it was just more amusing that way when he was so shocked.
The snaps meant different moves for different Pokemon, so it was reasonable why he was confused.
For Shinx, one snap meant to use Spark. For Espeon, it meant Psychic. Shinx aimed at the girl's Pokemon, and Espeon aimed at the bulky guy's Pokemon.
They both gasped as they ordered their flying ride Pokemon to use Peck. Shinx and Espeon dodged easily.
The skinny middle guy, whom you supposed must be the leader, was gone. His ride and his minions were there, but he wasn't.
You wondered where he sneaked off to, but then it hit you: Liko.
Shinx looked back at you with concern. As if it could read your mind, it ran towards where Liko was. You nodded and called Espeon to come too.
"Not so fast." The lady said.
"Our boss has business with that girl you have." The bulky guy added.
You growled and kept your head down. You suddenly thought of a solution.
You clapped your hands three times and smiled.
"Wow, you seriously got me there. Or so you think." You grinned. 3 claps meant only one thing: fake an attack, actually attack, then run for it.
It didn't matter what attack the Pokemon used; the only thing was that it was quick.
Your Pokemon did what you told them to. The people ran up to catch up and caught Shinx and Espeon.
You turned around and started to snap your fingers, but they pushed their shoulders together with Liko. You hadn't noticed their boss and Liko come. If you made Shinx use Spark, it might hurt Liko.
"Liko, what are you doing?" You asked.
She smiled sadly at you and replied,
"All of you are getting hurt because of me. I should go. They'll give you your Pokemon back too."
"Liko, you don't have to do this." You protested.
She shook her head.
"Liko-" you began to say, but she cut you off.
"I'm fine. Don't worry about me." She said.
They dropped your Pokemon, but the bulky guy locked your hands behind your back firmly, making sure you can't slap your fingers.
You struggled in his grip, trying your best to get out.
He tugged you back out of the ship, Liko walking in front of you.
There was one thing left to do, something that you hate doing: asking for help.
"Fried Torchic! Friede! Come on! Help! I'll call you a Fried Blaziken!" You yelled, but the bulky man put his hand over your mouth.
