You were now 12 years old. It's been 8 years since Friede adopted you, and you still never remembered the incident.
Your Shinx is still a Shinx and hasn't evolved yet.
Last night, Friede and you brought home another girl that was your age.
Her name was Liko and she had a Sprigatito. She also had a very pretty pendant on her neck.
You rode your Fearow while Friede rode his Charizard. His Charizard carried Liko back.
(Too many details, so I'm not putting)
Liko looks at the ship in wonder. Sprigatito jumps out of her hands and plays with Murdock's Rockruff as him and Mollie walk over.
"Fearow, return." You say as it goes in.
Shinx looks at Sprigatito and Rockruff. You bent down and nudge him over. He turns to stare at you. You smile and whisper,
"Go and have fun, you could make a new friend."
He runs over and plays.
Mollie goes up to you and Friede and says that you were gone for so long, they started worrying.
You laughed and assured them that you were fine. Murdock came up to you and Friede and gave you two fist bumps.
"My man, how's it been? I see this place hasn't fallen apart without me." You told him.
Murdock laughed and replied, "Caps been waiting for you. After all, you are his favorite crew member."
"I thought I was. I was the one who caught him." Friede complained.
Murdock and you looked at him and laughed.
"So you're Liko, huh?" Mollie asked her.
Liko jumped in surprise.
"Yeah. But how exactly do you know who I am? Who are you people?" Liko asked and she backed a centimeter away.
"Unbelievable..." Mollie said as she did a little face palm, "Have you seriously not told this kid anything, Friede?!"
"Um. Did I forget?" He asked us.
"Mm-hm" Liko replied.
"I thought you did." You said.
"I-I thought you did." Friede told you.
"Both of you forgot?!" Mollie mumbled.
Murdock laughed and said, "I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!"
"You're siblings?" Liko asked you and Friede.
"Adoptive, siblings." Friede clarified, "been my sister for 8 years."
"Survived with him since I was 4." You said.
"What do you mean by survived?" He asked you.
You giggled and didn't say anything.
"Wait. What did you two do to get her here?" Murdock asked.
"Friede! Y/N!" Mollie scolded.
"Now hang on!" Friede said.
You and Friede tried to explain to them as they scolded you two.
"It's not like we kidnapped her like those creepy hippies in black on TV that jumpscare you all the time... Not that I'm scared of a jumpscare! I just don't like them." You say.
"You are 1 million percent scared of them. You literally scream and cover your eyes on a jumpscare." Friede teases.
"I do NOT!" You yell.
"Kids, getting off track." Mollie says.
You here Pokemon chittering. You look over to see Pawmi and Fuecoco running towards you.
"How about you explain, Friede? You're much more responsible than me and have a greater memory." You say and you pat him on the back. You say the responsible part a little louder. Praise always gets the best of him.
"I'm responsible? Wait- are you tricking-" he says. But you have already bent down to play with the Pokemon.
"What are Pokemon from Paldea doing here?" Liko asks you.
"They just came aboard at some point while we were traveling." You grinned.
Pawmi was more of your favorite, but you didn't catch it because you knew it loved its freedom. You wanted it to be able to come and go as it pleased.
"And they're not the only ones, check it out!" Murdock added as more a Shuckle, a Noctowl, and a Snorunt greeted her from their posts.
You laughed and Friede smiled at them. Liko looked around and seemed to be analyzing if you were good or bad. You shrugged it off.
"Sorry for not introducing myself yet. The name's Mollie." Mollie told her.
"And you can call me Murdock. That over there is my partner, Rockruff." Murdock added and he motioned to the Rockruff playing with Sprigatito and Shinx.
"Looks like Sprigatito has already made two friends." Liko said.
"That Shinx over there is my partner." You smiled. It turned to look at you and continued playing.
Fuecoco and Pawmi bent over to them as Sprigatito made a nice smell.
"They're all so cute!" Liko said. You nodded in agreement.
Liko was about to say something, but Friede's phone came out meaning there was an emergency.
"Hold that thought, kid. Looks like we got some incoming guests. I think it's them." Friede said.
You called Shinx over and summoned your _______ (eevee/shiny eevee, espeon/ shiny espeon, jolteon, shiny sylveon, or umbreon/shiny umbreon. Your choice bc I can't decide.)
Whatever you chose, it went into its fighting stance when it felt the tension.
(If you chose a shiny one): "Y-you have a shiny? How?" Liko gasped.
"It kinda just came." You reply.
"Them who?" Mollie asked Friede.
"Heading to the bridge. It's time to go!" Friede said, not answering her question.
"Right." You reply as you follow him. Your Pokemon follow behind.
"Noctowl! They're not giving up. Take point on airspace security!" Friede ordered. Noctowl flew to the top perch.
"Who's this them you're talking about? What happened at the school?" Murdock asked.
"We can talk about that later. I need you on watch duty. Mollie, take care of Liko and the Pokemon." Friede says.
"What do I do?" You ask.
"You come with me. I'll need all the help I can get if it comes down to a battle." Friede replies.
"Sure, but can I battle that cute guy with funky hair?" You ask. (It's Amethio.) You just call him cute because you honestly think that. This won't be an AmethioXreader thing unless I say so.
"No. He's a rival of mine. You can battle his companions. Plus, you'll have more people of battle." Friede replies. You shrug and nod.
"You can count on us." Murdock tells him.
"Um, Orla's freaking out a bit. She says there's some kind of big storm moving in." Mollie says.
"We'll deal with it. Charizard, let's get to it. Y/N, stay here. Be ready to battle if they come." Friede says.
"Rockruff, return!" Murdock says. Rockruff goes into its pokeball.
You nod and look at your Pokemon.
The next few events will be long and since there are different pokemon you chose to use, there will be different chapters for each.
