CHAPTER NINE

VEDANT POV

Delicate as a glass doll, she sat in my lap so fine,
If I were to drop her, she'd shatter, oh what a bind!
Her fragile form, a whispered promise to hold tight,
Lest she dissolve like mist, and vanish in the night.

Eyes damp with sorrow, but tears refused to show,
A heart heavy with grief, yet emotions lay low.
"Yours perception of me is totally wrong , Sunshine. I'm not obligated to explain myself, but I'm choosing to, because you matter.
Silly girl, this is true that I was married. But you know what I am just like you at this time. "

She looked at me with her Scarlet eyes filled with unspoken emotions.

" What do you mean ?"

" I'm a widower and my wife is dead ."

" Then, all the rumours I heard in class were correct."
" Half correct , she wasn't pregnant.she died in one month of our marriage. "

" Ohh.. I'm sorry ."

I looked into her eyes with a lot of love, and for a second, a sparkle appeared in her eyes.

" But still you flirt with everyone. You are same as my husband. You are bad. Did you ever loved your wife?"
She spoke with a scowl on her face, her words tinged with a hint of displeasure.

" Sunshine ,If you had noticed, you would have realized that I wasn't flirting with anyone actually, they were   trying flirting with......mmmmmm...

In the soft whisper of a moment's pause,
I felt her lips, a gentle, loving cause,
Her heart beating fast, her soul on fire,
She was trying to kiss me with much jealousy and anger.

She touched my lips with her and started rubbing them on mine.  She was also using her teeth on my lips.She doesn't know how to kiss. I m lucky to have such innocence with me. Do I deserve her??

Innocence shone bright, in her loving gaze,
A tender bite, a sweet, awkward phase,
For she had yet, to learn the kiss of love,
But her heart's intention, sent shivers from above.

Then suddenly , post realisation she left me with a jerk.
I felt a metallic taste in my mouth, oh my silly girl you will be the death of this devil.
Welcome to my hell which you took upon yourself by touching a devil's untouched soul.

A crimson tide, of embarrassment did rise, on her cheeks, a deepening blush, that shame did realize.

A spark of unexpectedness, did ignite,
Her kiss, a sudden flame, that set my soul alight,
A shock of surprise, that left me breathless and cold,
A moment's magic, that my heart did enfold.

" I am sorry". And her eyelids descended to the ground.

" Don't Apologise silly Sunshine . With reverence, I want to hold you near.
I claim the right to your every emotion,
Your joy, your tears, your every heart's devotion."

" I love someone else who is dead now."
My face , a mirror of my soul , but only for my girl, had a feeling of jealousy.

" Sunshine ,you have to move on . You are young and have whole life alone. Are you getting me?"

She nodded. " But he was my first love and can never be forgotten.How can I cheat with him ."

My knuckles white , nails digging in palms . " I will help you with that"

But you are my teacher.

I closed my eyes and said " then go naa . You wanna go . "

She was stilled in my embrace.

"Okay what was the girl's name who was flirting with me.  Hmmm......
Vishaka, Now I will flirt back with her .

Next moment, I feel some sting pain of teeth on my throat in the place of my mole.....
