2 MONTHS LATER , 

Only one day is left for the wedding. All pre wedding rituals are done. Ishanvi is sitting in her room and scrolling the photos taken in the last one week. She never dressed herself this well in her whole life. She is always a chill and laid back person. A baggy t-shirt with jeans or palazzo is her most comfortable outfit.  She heard a knock on the door. She opened the door and saw her father.

Ishanvi : Nanna ! 

Ishanvi's father : Child ! I am here to have a good talk with you.

Ishanvi welcomed her father inside. He sat on the couch and isha sat on the bed.

Ishanvi's father : Did you like the arrangements ? Are they according to your taste ? 

Ishanvi : yes nanna ! 

Ishanvi's father : Do you like Dhruv for sure ? 

Ishanvi was silent. She loves him for sure but she is unable to tell that infront of her father. May be she is feeling shy to speak about her feelings for him infront of her father. 

Ishanvi : yes nanna ! 

Ishanvi's father : He is great guy child ! Remember one thing dear ! A guy who loves his mother a lot will never mistreat other woman. He is not someone who will bind you with restrictions but will try to break your stereotypes . I asked him if he is happy with you being a working woman ! Do you know what he said ? 

Ishanvi : what he said ? 

Ishnavi's father : He asked me if I am fine with him being a working man instead of being househusband ! He said that he will sit at home if you are restricted from working. So, that you will definitely go to work for livelihood.

Ishnavi chuckled lightly. 

Ishanvi's father : His mother is also a nice lady. You know her right ?

Ishanvi : yes ! 

Ishnavi's father : One more thing ! Stop talking to Rita. 

Ishanvi : why ? Is that because of her relationship with a guy from lower caste ?

Ishanvi's father : No isha ! Listen..

Ishanvi : enough nanna ! 

Ishanvi's father : Please listen ! 

Ishanvi : Nanna stop ! You people will never change. Rita told that you would speak like this. Now you are getting me married Dhruv because even he is from a upper caste right ?

Dhruv was chanting the mantras told by the priest. His mother is standing behind him with a bright smile. Soon Ishanvi came there in a golden saree. Her face is covered with a net veil. She sat opposite to him and a white cloth was placed in between them. Dhruv's cousin Lalitha gave a mixture of jaggery and cumin seeds placed in beetel leaves to both of them. They placed it on each other's head. Soon the white cloth was pulled away. Their eyes met as the first lock of their wedding was done. After chanting the mantras together the priest gave the mangalsutra to dhruv. He tied it around Ishanvi's neck and tears rolled down from her eyes. He kissed forehead affectionately and whispered in her ears.

Dhruv : I am yours from this second and you are mine forever. No other woman have the rights that you have on me. 

Ishanvi smiled by looking at him. They too the 7 holy steps and few other rituals are also done. Finally they are married.

Dhruv and Ishanvi  are about to go home. Ishanvi's parents tried to hug her but she ignored them and hugged Rita. It hurted them.  Dhruv told ishanvi to hug her parents in a whispering tone. 

Ishanvi : We got married few minutes ago and from now only you started ruling me right ? 

Dhruv : No Isha ! I am just....

Ishanvi : I know what i am supposed to do ! You don't know anything dhruv. Few people seems to be nice. But they aren't really good. Let's go home ! 

Dhruv looked at his in-laws with an apologetic face. He wondered why she is angry. He didn't ask anything to her. The journey back home was silent. He tried to talk to her but she didn't let him to speak. By the time they reached their house . Few people are waiting for them . Lalitha is holding a Harathi plate. She did Harathi to them and welcomed them inside.

After few hours most of the  relatives left and only few close relatives are left. Ishanvi was tired and she went to sleep. Dhruv was talking to Raj about something . Raj attended the wedding to bless the couple with a happy life. 

Raj : Don't tell about that now. Take some time and tell her !

Dhruv : Hmm.

Lalitha : rey dhruv ! It is already late. Go to sleep. There is a vratham tomorrow.

Dhruv : 2 minutes akka.

Raj  : Ok Dhruv ! Let's talk later. Bye ! 

Dhruv : Bye ! 

Dhruv slept on the terrace as his room was given to Ishanvi.

Ishanvi woke up as her mobile started ringing. Rita is calling her. She answered the call with excitement.

Ishanvi : Hello Rita akka ! 

Rita : Hello Isha ! What are you doing ? 

Ishanvi : sleeping ! 

Rita : Is he misbehaving with you ? 

Ishanvi : No ! Why he will do that ? He is sleeping on the terrace because of me. Poor him,

Rita : we can't trust men ! If he is doing that then don't fall in his trap. He is trying to be nice. So, that you will say good things about him to your parents. They will think that you are happy. But later he will show his true face and no one will listen your words when you tell something wrong about him.

Ishanvi : I don't think so ! He is a great guy ! 

Rita : fine ! You don't need me anymore right ? I won't disturb you again.

Ishanvi : Akka listen ! It is not something of that sort.

Rita didn't listen to her but she cut the call.
