PART NUMERO 2 ( the meeting)

NIKIS POV

As I continued to munch on my lunch I heard some of the students from another table near us talking about a new student that was going to join our school.

I didn't want to eavesdrop but I don't know what got into me and made wanna know more about this new student.

I listened to their conversation while still trying to munch on my food. And since I didn't talk much when I ate it wouldn't seem weird that I wasn't talking.

And as I was going to hear more of their conversation the bell rang indicating that the students would have to go back to their classroom.

I finished eating and said bye to my friends since they have a class together after lunch. I walked to my classroom and when I entered I realized that almost nobody was there yet, but I didn't mind it because I don't really like crowded places at all.

I sat down a little in the back but still somewhat in the middle row. More students kept coming in and I wasn't surprised since this particular teacher almost always comes ten minutes or even more minutes late.

TIME SKIP

It was the end of the school day which meant that everyone could go back home. My friends left earlier since I stayed back to go to the library which wasn't a far walk from the school.

I entered the library and noticed how there was barely any people in there but what can I expect I mean nobody really likes library and because who would want to stay at a library when you could do better things.

But that person was me

Ever since I was young I never liked reading but I went to the library today because I had to study for a upcoming exam in our geography class which is my least favorite subject of all after my history class of course.

I went to an empty table, pulled a chair out and sat down to start to study. I also brought my headphones since with music I felt like I could focus more. But of course that might be only for me.

Soon I saw that the sky started to turn dark which indicated that it would be turning night soon. I packed my backpack and supplies that I brought and headed outside to go back to my apartment and finally rest.

As I was on the walk towards my apartment I noticed a park nearby I thought "it wouldn't take that long to take a short stroll around the park right?"

Nonetheless I started walking toward a bench nearby the park. I noticed how there was still some children playing in the playground with their parents on benches or pushing their kid on the swing.

I smiled unconsciously but took my attention away from them and stared at the moon and stars and noticed how it was shining really brightly and beautifully.

I stayed in my spot still looking at the moon when someone sat down on the other side of the bench that I was sitting on.

I glanced at person and noticed how it was a girl.
I shook my head looking back at the children and seeing how the kids and their parents were starting to leave I checked my phone to check my what time it was.

I was about stand up to go back to my apartment since I didn't want to get there late since the next morning I would probably regret it because if I didn't have at least 3 hours of sleep I would probably be sleepy the entire day.

When suddenly the girl who was sitting on the bench with me said "hi" to me.

"Hi." Was all she said nothing else, she was still looking at the moon but turned her attention to me when she said that.

"Umm Hii." I said back somewhat awkwardly.

"I know that we don't know each other but I'm going to introduce myself since I need some friends here!!" The girl said looking at me with a gummy smile.

"My name is Hwa-Young! How about you?"

"Nishimura Riki but you can just call me Niki!" I replied back with an awkward smile shown upon my face.

"Nice meeting you Niki I hope we can become better friends."

"Can I maybe get your phone number to contact you?" She asked looking at me.

"It's okay if you don't want to I don't wanna cross your boundaries!!." She said looking back at the moon with a smile on her face.

" umm sure, my phone number is **********." I said with a smile before I noticed that she took out her phone and typed the number in her contacts.

"I'll be sure to call you Niki!!" She said with a bright smile plastered on her face.

"Okay umm well then Byee!!" I said standing up and then walking back on the path to go to my apartment.

"Byeee!!"

When I got back on the track back home I started to wonder why I would even give my phone number to a stranger.

But at the same time she wasn't a stranger anymore since we both introduced ourselves.

But still why would I give her my phone number. I remember some of her features since when she looked at me I was already looking at her wondering why she wanted to talk to me for.

I threw all of those thoughts away since I have already arrived at my apartment already.

I took my keys out of my backpack and unlocked the door. I entered, put my backpack and shoes on the ground before going to my room to change out of my uniform.

I changed and then put my phone to charge by my bedside so I could get it when I would wake up the next morning.

I headed out my room and went towards the entrance and took my headphones out of my backpack and went back to my room to charge them too since I was probably gonna wake up early to go to the library and study once again.

I got into my bedsheets and started to go to sleep when I suddenly got the urge to get something to drink since my throat was starting to feel dry which doesn't happen often but I didn't question it.

I walked to the kitchen, got something to drink like some fresh cold water with some ice before I chugged it down since I was feeling sleepy and really wanted to go to sleep.

I went to my bedroom once again and as I was about to go into a deep slumber I got a notification from my phone.

I groaned wondering who would text me in the middle of the night since it was starting to turn into 1 am.

I got my phone checked but it was from an unknown number so I just decided to ignore it and check it in the morning when I would wake up.

I once again fell onto my bed and this time I actually fell asleep into a deep sleep.
