"What are you doing?" Billie walked into the brake room to see me and a 2 employees decorating the brake room
"Oh." The put the decorations down
"No keep going" I look at them "we're celebrating Jacob's one year sorority" I smile as I was standing on the counter hanging a banner
"Oh ok, be careful ba- Mia" she nodded before walking away
"Shit I thought she was going to yell" a girl put her hand over her heart
"Well I said this was fine so if she had a problem with it she would have to talk to me about it" I giggle
"Ok it's giving good cop bad cop" the other girl giggled
"Literally" I laughed "imma go see what she's doing, I don't even think she had to be in today" I hop off the counter and go to her office
"Hey baby" she smiled
"Hi. What are you doing? I thought you were going climbing with fin and Claudia today?" I asked
"I have work I have to do." She sighed
"Oh I could've done it" I tilt my head
"It's ok, I'm almost done anyway" she shrugged "it's cute what your doing for Justin" she smiled
"Yeah I hope he likes it. And please be nice to him today"
"I will mama, don't worry I'm not bothered by him anymore" she shook her head "com'er" she waved her hand
"Yeah?" I walk up to her standing in between her legs
"Your beautiful" she kissed me "I love you"
"I love you too" I smile "you ok? You seem off?" I hold her cheek
"Yeah baby I'm just tired as fuck." She shook her head seeming genuine
"Ok, but really Billie I could do this for you, go home and take a nap"
"Your just trying to get rid of me" she giggled
"Darn you caught me" I rolled my eyes
She chuckled "no baby I'm fine thank you" she kissed my hand

Billies pov
I can't help but feel off about Justin. Not about him being sober, I know he is and I'm proud of him for that. I just feel like he's putting up a front. He's too nice. But that might just me being protective over lani.
"Billie come on" lani opened my office door
I huffed and followed her.
Do I want to do this? No. Am I just doing this cuz lani told me to? Absolutely.
Everyone went into the brake room, we heard the elevator open
"What the fuck?" Justin sounded confused as everyone was gone
"Surprise!!" Everyone yelled and cheered
"Oh um god!" He laughed "what the hell thank you guys so much!" He put his hand on his heart when he saw the cake lani made for him
