Chapter 4

Yoongi and Jungkook entered Jungkook's house. They were talking while they walked inside.

"Eomma! We-" Jungkook stopped on his tracks as his eyes went wide. Yoongi looked at him with a questioning look.

"What happened, Kook?" Yoongi asked he kept his hand on Jungkook's back.

"Mate" Jungkook looked at him with red eyes and then went to the living room followed by Yoongi.

"Oh Kook, Yoon, you guys are back" Mrs. Jeon said with a smile not noticing the change in her son's eyes she gestured at the man towards the man in the living room "He is my boss, Kim Taehyung"

"Finally, we meet, my dear mate" Taehyung looked at Jungkook with red eyes.

"Oh, Tae, hi!" Yoongi said.

"Hi, Yoongs" Taehyung said but his eyes didn't leave Jungkook.

"Mate?" Mr and Mrs. Jeon looked back and forth between TaeKook.

"I can't believe I got an alpha mate" Taehyung said as he leaned his head back, but quickly looked at Jungkook.

"Well, I can believe you got Jungkook" Yoongi said.

"How so?" Taehyung asked again without looking at Yoongi.

"He is an alpha who was supposed to be a bratty omega but accidentally was born as an alpha" Yoongi shrugged and pushed Jungkook towards Taehyung little, but Jungkook didn't bulge. He didn't even say a word.

"Can I have a word with your son, alone?" Taehyung asked the parents but not looking at them.

"If Kook is-"

"Let's go to my room" Jungkook said.

"Lead the way, mate" Jungkook went to his room followed by Taehyung.

"I don't have a good feeling about this. Especially knowing what happened with Jungkook and his ex who was an alpha" Mrs. Jeon had a worried expression on her face.

"Tae might seem cold and everything, but he is really kind and gentle" Yoongi said.

"How do you know him?" Mr. Jeon asked.

"I have two mates, who are my professor, and he is their friend. They haven't marked me yet because I am their student in the uni" Yoongi sighed.

"It's your last year, Yoon, they will mark you next year"

"They told me they will mark me on my graduation day" Yoongi smiled.

"Good for you" Mrs. Jeon patted his head.

In Jungkook's room,

Taehyung entered his room after Jungkook who closed the door and leaned on the door. Taehyung took a deep breath, the room was filled with his mate's scent and he loved it.

"Can we talk?" Jungkook said while leaning on the door.

Taehyung turned to face him and nodded "That's why we are here, Jungkook"

"So, can I start? As my mate, you deserve to know this" Jungkook sighed.

"What is it?" Taehyung asked he observed Jungkook's moments and he would see that the latter was hesitant "You can tell me anything, Jungkook" Taehyung said in a soft voice trying to calm Jungkook.

"I have an ex, who is also an alpha"

"Okay. What about that?"

"Since you know Yoongi, I assume you are the friend of his mates who has been searching for his mate for the past five years, right?" Taehyung nodded "And haven't touched anyone, right?" Taehyung nodded again. He kind of had an idea of where this is going "Well, my ex was a little older than me, and he claimed to be my mate..." Jungkook looked at the floor, and he could see Taehyung's fist clenched.

"Go on. Tell me, what else did he do?"

"Everything a mate would do, and more" Jungkook said in a small voice, but Taehyung heard it.

"More? What do you mean by more?"

"Um... I don't know to explain it" 

"Then give me examples" 

"You know those typical alphas...." 

"Can be elaborate a little more?"

"He treated me like shit when I started giving in!" Jungkook said.

"What was your age, and his age?"

"I was eighteen and he was twenty-one..."

"How did you guys break up?"

"Um... I refused to take his mark" Jungkook mumbled. Taehyung did not buy it but he nodded.

"He was an alpha?" Taehyung asked.

"Yes, that's why I was kinda taken aback when I found out that you were an alpha, too" 

Taehyung sighed and walked towards Jungkook making the latter's breath hitch. He was afraid that Taehyung would do something to him, so he shut his eye and was ready to apologize for he doesn't know what.

"It's okay" Taehyung said as he patted his head. Jungkook looked at him with shocked doe eyes making Taehyung coo at him "We can take it slow. I have my mate, now, and we can take it slow, it's okay"

"Thank you" Jungkook smiled. Taehyung smiled back and pecked his head.

"You want to talk more, or do you want to go down?"

"I want to know you a bit more..." Jungkook mumbled shyly.

"You are cute. Even I want to know you a bit more. Should we go on a date right now, if you want that is?"

"Really?!" Jungkook's eyes sparkled. He always wanted to go on late night dates.

"Yes, really" Taehyung extended his hand and Jungkook took it.
