Ryan is not interested in Amandine. If he really learns cooking, he might become unemployed. "Your brother doesn't need me to teach him, he is very smart and can learn it by himself," Ryan continued to persuade.

Uwa thought for a while and said, "Okay then!"

The two entered the kitchen. Ryan wanted to teach a simpler dish, using black pepper egg fried pasta as the first lesson. First, cook the pasta in advance, remove it and mix it with oil. Then cut the cabbage into shreds, chop the green onions, and crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them. Then pour oil into a frying pan and heat it. Pour the egg mixture and stir-fry it into large pieces. Put the eggs aside and add the cabbage and green onions and stir-fry. Pour the cooked pasta in and stir well, and finally add the black pepper sauce and stir-fry together. Add salt and soy sauce to taste when it comes out of the pan. Uwa also did it once according to Ryan's steps, but she was clumsy and would fry the ingredients out of the pan every time, wasting a lot of ingredients. Ryan stood behind her and taught her how to stir-fry. After Amandine got up and saw the two of them so close, he said with jealousy, "You're getting close so quickly!" Ryan hurriedly took a step back and explained, "I'm teaching Uwa how to cook, I don't mean anything else."

"Then you guys continue, I'm going to pee!" Ryan saw that Amandine didn't object, and became bolder. Uwa was very devoted to learning; she thought that if she learned cooking, she could help more. After a while, guests came in one after another, and the two had to agree to learn after getting off work.

After Amandine finished peeing, he wanted to have breakfast. Seeing that Ryan was busy, he made it himself, and it was his specialty egg fried rice. When he finished frying, he called Uwa to eat together. Uwa felt his concern and was happy in her heart, but she didn't dare to smile on her face. She remembered that Amandine didn't want to see her smile.

After the two of them finished eating, a guest who came in caught Amandine's attention. When he saw this person, he exclaimed in surprise, "Old man in the wooden house!"

The person who came was Ludes, who had given them gold coins. His house collapsed in this earthquake. Fortunately, he ran out in time and was not crushed underneath. Without the wooden house, he had nowhere to go. He finally dug out the buried gold coins and some shillings and went down the mountain. He wanted to eat something and then find a way to rebuild the house. After visiting two restaurants, neither of them was open. He found Amandine at the third shop.

Amandine had forgotten his name, but remembered his face. Ludes was also surprised to see the two of them and asked, "You took my money and opened a restaurant?"

"Yes! You helped us a lot," Amandine said with a smile.

"Then how are you going to thank me?"

"Wait, I'll make you my best fried rice. I won't give it to ordinary people, you're lucky this time," after that, he went to the kitchen.

Ludes thought that this guy still had some conscience, so it wasn't in vain that he helped him. Ten minutes later, Amandine came out with fried rice, "Try it! It's delicious. I added an extra egg for you."

Uwa also came out from the kitchen. She was very happy to see Ludes and asked, "Old man, why did you come down the mountain?"

The old man talked about his situation while eating. Uwa looked at Amandine and asked carefully, "Can we go to help?"

"Of course, he is my friend, let's go after closing the shop at night!"

Ludes couldn't help asking, "At night? How can we do anything when it's dark?"

"Old man, why don't you stop building a house? Maybe you will be crushed to death in another earthquake, you can live directly in the restaurant, there is another room here," Amandine suggested.

Uwa also nodded and said, "Old man, you can live here!"

Ludes thought for a moment and said, "Okay, I hope I won't disturb you."

So Ludes stayed here. At seven o'clock in the evening, Ryan wanted to teach Uwa how to cook, but then changed his mind and asked her to go out and play. Uwa asked Amandine, "Brother, do you want to go together?"

"You guys go, I want to chat with the old man."

Uwa didn't want to go after hearing that, but Ryan coaxed and dragged her away. Ludes glanced at Amandine and asked anxiously, "What do you have to talk to me about? You should go out and play with them!"

Amandine smiled, "Old man, I want to know where you got the gold coins from? You don't look like someone who has such things, did you steal them?"

"You are a heartless person. I gave you gold coins, and you actually suspected that I was a thief?"

Amandine said heartlessly, "You really look like a thief."

Ludes didn't want to say it at first, but later he was pestered and had no choice but to speak. However, as soon as he said the first sentence, Amandine was stunned. He only heard the old man say, "Do you know that there is an invisibility cloak in the world?"

Amandine suppressed his excitement and shook his head, "I don't know, what is that?"

"It is a piece of clothing that can hide the body. More than ten years ago, I worked as a cleaner in a family, the owner there was called Laurent..."

When Ludes wanted to continue, Amandine interrupted, "Laurent? Does he live in Arusha? He is very tall, with messy hair and a red nose," this time it was Ludes' turn to be surprised, "You know him too?"

"Of course I know him, he also lent me something."

The thing Amandine was talking about was his invisibility cloak. When he left Uwa and came out of Feynman's house, he met Laurent in less than half a year. Laurent was a professor at a university. Amandine found him for the time machine. Not long after the two got along, Laurent discovered his secret and proposed that he would only consider the time machine if Amandine lent him the invisibility cloak. In order to return to the future, Amandine gritted his teeth and lent it to him. Laurent lent it for three months, and Amandine followed him closely, fearing that he would not return it. One day three months later, the invisibility cloak was finally returned to its original owner. Amandine brought up the matter of the time machine with great expectations, but Laurent played a game of disappearance with him. He looked everywhere for it, but couldn't find him after half a year, and finally had to leave Arusha disappointed.

At this time, when Ludes mentioned the invisibility cloak and Laurent, he couldn't help but think of the connection between the two. Could it be that this guy also invented the invisibility cloak?

Amandine asked angrily, "Where is he now? Do you know? I want to settle accounts with him."

Ludes sighed, "Ah! It's been more than ten years, how can I know?"

"Then go on, where did you get your gold coins?"

"Where was I?" Ludes asked.

"I forgot too, tell me again!"

"Okay! I used to be a cleaner in a family whose name was Laurent. One night, I was sleeping in the house and suddenly heard some noise outside, so I got up to see. I saw Mr. and Mrs. Laurent each carrying a heavy bag. Just as I was about to ask a question, Mr. Laurent took out dozens of gold coins from the bag and stuffed them into my hand, and told me not to mention what happened tonight again. I nodded and went back to the house happily. After entering the house, I thought more and more strangely. In the days that followed, I began to pay attention to their words and deeds. Once, I finally overheard their conversation and saw Mr. Laurent disappear in front of me. Later, they moved and fired me."
