*Yasmin's POV*

After I left the BBQ I went home. Javi texted me he was going to get condoms so I betta be ready. I laughed at that text and took a shower. I turned on iTunes Radio as I got in. Drunk in Love by Beyoncé started playing and I sang along. Javi loves when I sing he says my voice is so heavenly I make angels jealous. I got out of the shower and it was weird that Javi wasn't home yet. I called his phone and got no answer. I called 3 more times and the last time Ace answered.

Me: Ace where's daddy why aren't y'all home

Ace: The mean Man hurt Daddy.

Me: What do you mean Ace

Ace: Daddy hurt ,mommy

Me: where are you ace

Ace: at the stwore

Me: Which store Ace

Ace: The one where you bought my toy car

Me: Which toy Ace come on help mommy

Ace: The shiny car

Me: okay Ace, what is the store near

Ace: The real cars

Me: Okay Ace, do mommy a favor

Ace: What mommy

Me: I need you to stay strong mommy is going to get help. Are you and Jazzy okay

Ace: Yes mommy, she sleeping

Me: okay good, don't cry baby mommy is going to get help

Ace: I scwared

Me: Don't be scared baby just stay on the phone with mommy. Mommy called 911 help should be there soon

Ace: Daddy hurt

Me: Ace put your hand in front of daddy's nose do you feel air

Ace: yes a little bit

Me:okay Ace do you hear sirens

Ace: no

Me: well mommy's almost there

Ace: hurry

Hearing my baby in so much distress kills me. I sped all the way to the store and by time I got there the EMT was loading Javi in the ambulance and an officer was sitting with Ace and Jasmine. I ran over there and picked up Jasmine and Ace ran over and just grabbed me.

Me: Ace baby mommy's here now

Ace: will daddy be okay

Me: I'll tell you something he always tells me A Daniels never dies.

Officer: mam do you have any idea of who would do this

Me: No, but I'd like to get to the hospital now.

Officer: okay we'll call you down for questioning later

I loaded the kids in my car and informed everyone about what had happened and told them to get to the hospital fast. I swear Javi has to make it. I can't live without him I love him so much. He's my best friend the father of my kids my soul mate.

When I got to the hospital everyone was already there and they just stared at me as I walked in. Jai was in Wes arms rocking. Shay and Ray sat holdin hands. Khan and Komia sat with 3 chairs separating them. Jai jumped up and hugged me and we stood there hugging and rocking. The doctor came out cleared his throat and then told us they managed to stabilize him and how the surgery was a success the bullet missed any important organs but he lost a lot of blood and now he's in a coma. Those last words shot me. The doctor led me to Javi's room. Here he lay in this hospital bed looking so peaceful. I went to hold his hand and he was so cold. I could only think about wrapping my hands around the neck of the bastard who did this. Just then everyone that was in the waiting room came in and Doc, Beast, and Puff Puff walked in behind them.

Doc:Man why they have to do this to ole homeboy

Beast: I bet you it was them no goods XVC

Ray: Nah man we cools wit dem that's Shay peeps

Puff Puff: But some of them might didn't get the message

Ray: Trust me I talked to the man in charge

Doc: Why him then

Jai: Yeah why my brother

Wes: Baby we'll find out who did this

Shay: I like Beast and Puff Puff's nerve to try and blame my peeps

Beast: Damn ma I ain't no they was yo Fam but chill

Me: Who would do this then

Ray: I want to ask Javi questions

Doc: He in a coma doe

Ray: I know that Doc stop being dumb

Puff Puff: Maybe we all just need a blunt

Me: Puff you always smoking

Puff puff: y'all don't call me puff puff for nutin

Doc: you just like a steam train

Puff: well if y'all not gettin a blunt I'll be back I need a good smoke

Ray: whatever puff just go

Puff: see ya yazzy I hope Mexico wakes up

Me: Mexico?

Puff: That's his nickname down at the trap

Momma Daniels: My baby shot

Puff: ah lordy here she come with all this hootin and hollerin

Momma Daniels: Who did this

Jai: momma we don't know

Just then the doctor came in and told us to go home and rest easy. I was going to stay right by Javi's side but Jai convinced me to go home with my kids. I looked at a sleeping Ace and Jasmine and decided they needed their mommy. I picked up Jasmine and Wes picked up Ace and carried him to my car. We said our good nights and I went home put Jasmine in her crib and tucked Ace in before getting ready for bed. I walked in our bedroom and looked at a picture of me and Javi from when Ace was just a newborn. He had the biggest smile on his face looking at his son. I put on one of his shirts and laid down and cried my eyes out. I cried and cried and cried. I just want Javi to be here laying next to me and holding me. But Instead he is laying in a hospital bed in a coma. I don't know if he'll ever be coming back to hold me. I cried even harder at the thought of that. I cried and cried until I fell asleep.
