After being led to where Felix was waiting by Hyunjin, Jisung and Felix started their walk home.
"Hey, I thought that you had to get to work?" Jisung questioned as they crossed the street.
"Yeah, but the classes got canceled for today. A rabid fox was living in the alley beside it," Felix answered seriously.
"A... what?"
"Rabid fox," Felix said as if it wasn't the most random thing in the world.
"...okay then..." Jisung said after a long time, trying to process what Felix said.
After entering the building they climbed up the stairs and up to their floor, walking to their apartment. Felix took out his keys and unlocked the door to see an extra pair of shoes that were neither the two boys who lived there. They both look at each other, knowing whose shoes they are, and both smile.
"BANG CHAN HYUNG!" Felix shouts, excited to see his cousin. "I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU FOR MONTHS!"
"Relax Felix, it's been like two weeks," Chan said, rolling his eyes and smiling. He was in the kitchen making something for the boys who still couldn't see him as they were taking their shoes off.
"Channie Hyung, what are you doing here?" Jisung questioned as he set his bag down next to the bar stool at the counter.
"Well, I don't have to work at the restaurant today and I wanted to stop by," Chan said, giving a warm smile to the younger. Jisung smiled back, but he had a feeling there was more to the story. "How was your dance class Jisung?"
"Oh, so you came by to ask about Jeongin huh?" Jisung teased with a sly smile. Chan looked him dead in the eye and flicked some of the sauce that had gotten on his hand at him.
"That is not why, if I wanted to know I would have just texted him," Chan defended himself and wiped off the excess sauce.
"Yeah, I know. I'm just teasing," Jisung smiled. "And the dance class was... fun."
"Fun huh?" Chan questioned with a grin.
"What did Jeongin say," Jisung side-eyed. Chan smiled and finished making the pasta sauce.
"Jeongin didn't say anything, but your friend Hyunjin can't keep a secret from me," Chan said.
"WOW!" Jisung wailed. "I told him he needed to keep that a secret."
"No, you said secret from Felix, not me," Chan corrected. He looked at Jisung's shocked face, smiled, and continued. "He ranted about it to me."
"WHO IS KEEPING A SECRET FROM ME!?" Felix screamed as he opened the door of the bathroom.
"Nobody Felix, we were just joking about something," Chan lied, hoping Felix wouldn't question more.
"Okay!" Felix smiled genuinely. Jisung wondered how Felix could live life so clueless sometimes.
"Don't you have work today Felix?" Chan remembered.
"Nope, a rabid fox was living in the alleyway next to the studio and they had to spray down everywhere because, you know. It's rabies and stuff," Felix answered, walking into the kitchen and grabbing a bottle of water that he had put in the fridge. After twisting the cap off and turning around he saw Chan looking at him with concerned eyes and Jisung laughing his ass off. He smiled a big smile at Chan and went to sit next to Jisung who was still laughing up a storm.
