Sanchi was lost in her art room, completely absorbed in her sketch. Meanwhile, Abhimanyu was getting ready, looking dashing in his white shirt and black coat. He knocked on Sanchi's door, and before she could open it, he left, leaving her wondering. She knew he had gotten ready and left for college. She smiled to herself, feeling a flutter in her heart. She then began getting ready, her excitement building in anticipation of the day ahead.
Abhimanyu's farewell look🤭
Abhimanyu parked his car and entered the hall where the party was in full swing. The atmosphere was electric, with every guy looking dashing and the girls radiant, like divas. The air was filled with the hum of conversation and laughter, accompanied by the pulsating beats of the DJ's music.
Abhimanyu made his way through the crowd and reached the food corner, where he took a seat. He pulled out his phone and dialed Abhir's number."Where are you?" Abhimanyu asked.
"I'm on my way," Abhir replied.
"Is Sanchi with you?" Abhir asked.
"No, she said she'll come later by cab," Abhimanyu answered.
"Are you kidding me? You left her alone? And you plan to spend your life with her?" Abhir teased.
"She insisted on it herself! She wanted to surprise me with her saree," Abhimanyu explained. "By the way, can you come fast? I'm getting scared already."
"Bro, you just have to propose to her. What's there to be scared of? It's not like you're facing the UPSC exam!" Abhir joked.
"Cracking the UPSC exam is much easier than proposing to the girl you love," Abhimanyu said, his voice laced with nervousness. "What if she says no and leaves me?"
Abhir reassured him, "Nothing like that is going to happen, Abhi. Stay calm. By the way, have you brought the ring with you?"
Abhimanyu's hand instinctively went to his pocket, where the ring was safely tucked away. "Yeah, it's here," he replied, his eyes gleaming with excitement. He had chosen a beautiful ring with Sanchi's name carved on it, and he couldn't wait to see it on her finger.
Abhimanyu was deep in conversation with Abhir when he felt a gentle tap on his shoulder. He turned around, and his eyes landed on Shanaya. She was a stunning vision in her white saree and V-shaped black blouse, radiating a smoldering hotness that left her batchmates mesmerized. Her smoky eyes seemed to hold a secret.
Shanaya's look
Abruptly ending the call, he urged Abhir, "Come soon, yrr!" his voice laced with a mix of excitement and nervousness.
"Hey Shanaya," Abhimanyu said, smiling.
"Hey Abhi, looking hot as usual," Shanaya replied with a smirk.
"You're looking beautiful too," Abhimanyu said, his smile softening.
"Beautiful? Do you even have that word in your dictionary? Never heard it from you," Shanaya teased, raising an eyebrow.
Abhimanyu gave her a shy smile, "Yeah."
Shanaya winked, "Ohhhhh, Sanchi effect can be seen on Abhi now! His lustful smile has changed into a cute and shy one."
Abhimanyu's eyes narrowed, "How do you know about Sanchi?"
Shanaya chuckled, "Well, I saw you both on Sunday at the mall. You two looked happy and cute together."
Abhimanyu's mind flashed back to the mall visit with Sanchi after their temple trip. He had felt like he'd seen a familiar face, but had ignored it. Now, he realized it was Shanaya.
"Ah, Shanaya..." Abhimanyu trailed off, hesitating for a moment before continuing, "Look, Shanaya, I'm sorry for what I did to you. It was wrong, very wrong. I was a jerk back then, and I made many mistakes that hurt people. I'm truly sorry, and I'll do anything to make it up to you."
Shanaya raised an eyebrow, "Watch your words, Abhi. I might wish for something, and you won't be able to fulfill it."
Abhimanyu remained silent, unsure of how to respond. Shanaya chuckled and said, "Just kidding, Abhi! I'm happy for you that you've found someone as wonderful as Sanchi. She's a great girl. As for me, just have a drink with me, and I'll be happy."
Abhimanyu shook his head, "Shanaya, I've quit drinking."
"Oh, Abhi, we're in college, of course, we're not getting drinks here!" Shanaya laughed. "I'm asking you to have soft drinks with me, okay?" Abhimanyu nodded, feeling a bit silly for the misunderstanding.
Shanaya turned back and returned with two glasses of soft drinks. Abhimanyu took a sip, feeling the cool liquid refresh his throat. As they drank, Shanaya chatted on, but Abhimanyu's attention began to wane. Suddenly, his head felt heavy, and he was overcome with dizziness. He stumbled, about to fall, when Shanaya quickly offered her shoulder. Abhimanyu leaned into it, resting his head on her shoulder, feeling a wave of nausea wash over him.
