Me and the Devil (Fyodor x reader)

This time when I left Chuuya's apartment I didn't go home. I found an abandoned hospital in the suburbs of Yokohama and decided to use it, so I can bring the other Y/ns here.
I need to hurry up. Ashley was right. Time does in fact goes way faster here and you never know what can happen in the next minute.

I have 2 more days until the meeting with DOA and I intend to use this time to bring as many y/ns as possible. I need to get stronger soon, before y/n comes back.
I was in the train and I couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. It was 3 in the morning and the cabinet was almost empty. We were around 10 people here and I glanced at every single one carefully until I spotted someone sitting far from me. They had cover their hair and face so I couldn't see who they were but by their attitude I can tell that they are following me.

Probably one of Dostoyevsky's subordinates. I need to escape them.

I looked at the map with the stations in the screen and saw I had five more stations before the one I wanted, so walking to my destination was out of the question.

Think y/n... You had face similar problems in your own universe with creepy men in the subway... It is not that different.

I stood up and waited near the doors as if I was about to get off. They also stood up waiting in the other doors and I opened the weather app in my phone acting distracted.
As soon as the doors open I quickly got out and blended in with the small crowd. I walked among them, and got infront of a tall man and his friends using them as shields.

As soon as I heard the usual warning sound that the doors would close, I jumped in the nearest cabin just a second before the doors shut. I remained in the floor ignoring the weird looks people gave me. I let out a sigh and looked carefully through the window to see the one following me outside looking around like a maniac.

Only when the train started they turned their head and just for a second I managed to see a part of his face.
I saw a few white locks and that he has a scar in his left eye. My eyes widen in realization as the dots started to connect.

I remember him. He's Nikolai! I was right. Fyodor made him follow me around. Wait... Chuuya told me that he saw y/n talking with a man who then opened a portal to leave... I remember that this is his ability!

I felt my blood freezing at this thought

This means that y/n worked with Fyodor... That he knows her and that I'm not her...

Then I remember what he had said when he was in my room the other day

I can't believe that he knew all along and acted all ignorant... What does he wants from me? Does he knows where y/n is and wants to use me to help her? Is he going to kill me? Is this some twisted plan the two of them had set? I'm doomed, I'm so doomed

I didn't even noticed that I was having a panic attack until I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Miss are you okay? " Asked a male voice.
I felt like I was drowning, like there was not enough oxygen in the place. Everything started to get dizzy and the area felt too small and suffocating until the same voice spoke again

"Breathe. Focus on my voice and breathe in. Everything is alright, I'm here for you." He said as he rubbed my back. I followed his advice and managed to calm down enough to look besides me, at the man that helped me. I saw that he was wearing a tan coat and as my gaze moved higher I saw his neck being covered in bandages.

Don't tell me... No... What is Dazai doing here?!

I didn't say anything as I couldn't form any words

"Do you feel any better belladonna?"
He said his voice calming me down for some reason. I looked at him and nodded still not saying anything.
Dazai is one of the few characters I fully remember. Judging by the smirk he has right now he's gonna ask me on a double suicide.

He took my hands in his and he stared at me with big shiny eyes
"Belladonna, since things seemed to be difficult for you, do you want to join me in a double suicide?"

I knew it

I took away my hands and sighed while shooking my head. He sighed dramatically as well
"What a shame. Judging by how troubled you look, I thought that you would want to end your life"
"And you go around offering a double suicide to every person who looks troubled?" I asked with a raised eyebrow

"Don't be jealous belladonna... I'm just a man with a dream" he said in a dramatic way
"And that dream is to kill yourself with another miserable soul?"
"Precisely! I feel so honoured that you seem to understand my dream!"
He said overexcited
"Yeah, still no... I may be kinda... overwhelmed lately but I ain't killing myself "

Not when I just started living
He smiled faintly
"That's actually good to hear." The alarm that the next station was near was heard and he let out a small sigh
"It was good to meet you."
I nodded wanting to be polite.
"Yeah... Thank you for helping me"
The train stopped and he got out, hands in his pockets. Before the doors closed he waved at me with a small smile and said
"See you again"
I was confused on what he meant but I didn't manage to respond as the train took off.

Finally I got out and walked through the almost empty streets towards the abandoned hospital. This neighbour seemed so peaceful and isolated
Not too bad
The hospital was easier to find than what I thought and seemed untouched. There are no signs of any homeless person living here or graffiti and destroyed material. It is as if only time has damaged it until now.
I ignored the creepy feeling this place gave me and went to the first floor, trying to find a suitable place to bring y/ns.

30 minutes later, I had settled in and everything was ready. This time it would be easier since I have the ability of another y/n or at least I hope so. Again the bright light appeared and when I was able to look again there was a y/n looking confused and scared. She was in her late twenties and seemed quiet dump to be honest.
"Where am I?" She asked dizzy while vomiting.
The travel must have being heavy on her. Before I could say anything she fainted.

After 30 minutes she woke up and it was easy to make her give me her ability. As soon as she did I began to work on how to send her back.
Bringing someone here wasn't that hard. Y/n had done it too. The problem is when you have to send someone back.

There are many dangers and even the smallest mistake can change everything. You can being send into a different reality, in a wrong timeline, without your memory or even in not one piece. I took big breaths trying to concentrate until I felt another presence behind me. I turned around and saw Ashley looking at me

"You sensed me this time" she said with a faint smile
"What can I say, I've gotten used to this." I said turning my attention back to the book with the formulas.
"That's something y/n would have said" she said, probably wanted to compliment me but I felt my heart freezing.

I'm nothing like her
I thought but took a big breath and ignored the statement
"Can you help with sending her back? I'm kinda nervous on how to do it"
She nodded and approached me.

Together we managed to send her back and Ashley immediately went to detect whether she was home safe.
I was so anxious on whether it would work or not.
Last thing I want is to kill innocent alternatives of myself and become like y/n.

Ashley returned after what felt forever, looking satisfied. Apparently we succeeded... She went back to her universe safe and sound
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and prepared to bring another me
