Manda POV: Me and Catnap walked around Playcare for a while until we stopped back at Home sweet home. I look at him. "I still don't feel tired" I said. He turned his head and looked down at me, a bit confused. "Is there something that's keeping you from falling asleep?" He asked politly. I nod my head yes. Ever since my mom left me, there's been thoughts and questions that kept me from sleeping. <Why did she abandon me? Why?> I thought to myself. Catnap waved his hand in front of my face, and I zoned back in. "You good, kid? You zoned out for a while" He said. I could tell his tone was worried. "It happens" I said, shrugging. He looked at me with a worried face. "Are you sure? I overheard some of the staff here saying that you've been zoning out too much." He said.
That's right. I HAVE been zoning out too much. I've been told by Miss Sunny that I may have problems with my mental health since, y'know, my own biological mother abandoned me.
I look back at Catnap, and sighed. "It's just...ever since my mom left me, there's been these thoughts and questions in my like; 'Why did she leave me.' or 'Did she abandon me because I have the "family genes" or something?'. The thoughts and questions have bothered me a lot and.." I stopped speaking. I realized that I was crying. I don't remember crying before...Catnap POV: Casanova stopped speaking and when I least expected it, she was crying. The last time she cried was when her cousin, Milly, had to go to the hospital because she was bleeding on her head, luckily, she was fine.
I walk over to Casanova and hugged her tightly. I could tell she was in a lot of pain. I could hear her crying. She grabbed onto my shirt from the back and her grasp started tighting before she loosened her grip.
"Everything's gonna be alright, kiddo" I said, trying to calm her down. She starting calming down a bit, but she was still crying. I don't know how long she was crying for, but she fell asleep. She wouldn't let go of me at all, so I decided to stay with her till morning. I saw she dropped the toy she had on her hand and I picked it up slowly so she wouldn't wake up. I sat down on the ground, leaning against the outside walls of Home sweet home, and I took Casanova off my shoulders and placed her next to me. She immediatly grabbed me by the waist, which almost scared me of how fast she was. I gently lifted up her arm and placed the toy she dropped in her arms. Then, she held onto the toy and wrapped her arms around my waist again. As I looks up onto the painted sky, I could feel my eyes slowly closing...and I fell asleep for who knows how long...Author's note: Hiya everyone!!
