Alex and Henry's love story

Alex's birthday:

Henry's POV:
I wake up way earlier than Alex, today he has a day off from work which is good because I have a whole day planned. I decorated the kitchen with a happy birthday sign, and some balloons.
After I finish decorating I start with breakfast, I serve his breakfast I lay it on the table. It's around the time Alex should be waking up I hear footsteps I smile "happy birthday!" Alex smiles.
"What's this" he asks "I decorate for you" Alex smiles "thank you baby" Alex walks into the kitchen I go and give him a hug "happy birthday dear"Alex gives me a kiss "thank you" I make him sit down and try the breakfast I made, he just plays with it "okay you asshole try it" he laughs and he takes a bite "okay" he says "is it bad?" He shakes his head "no it's good thank you babe"
Once he finishes his breakfast he grabs a gift
I got his a few work shirts and his sweater that I never gave back "thank you for the sweater" I nod "I mean I can still take when ever but you  will stop get it back because I am not leaving" he laughs "I know. You would take all my hoodies if as if you didn't pack a shit tun of hoodies" I laugh "hey your hoodies were really comfortable I couldn't help myself" he goes ahead and opens the other one it a leash some dog toys "don't tell me" I hold out my hand Alex smiles he stands up grabbing my hand.
"Henry I swear" we walk to the office I close his eyes as we walk in "okay you ready" he nods "okay in 3...2...1 open!" Alex gasps "you got me dog" I nod "I mean you been saying we should get a dog so I got you a dog"
Alex smiles "what about David - David love him" Alex smiles he cups my cheeks and kisses me "oh my fucking god I fucking love you" Alex gives me a kiss another, "yeah, yeah I know" he laughs.
Alex lays down and plays with the dog "it's a boy right" I nod.
"What am I going to name you" he whispers, I get a text for June saying they are outside so
I go open the door, Mark his wife, Beatrice and Philip. They walk inside, Ellen set the cake on the table.
I go grab a lighter from three drawer, Ellen puts the candles on the cake, I light them up.
Ellen grabs the cake and everyone follows me to the office.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you" Alex gets up "happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Alex happy birthday to you"
He laughs "make a wish" he closes his eyes and blows on the candles.
"You guys didn't have to- oh honey your husband planned all of this" Alex wraps his arm around my shoulder and kiss my temple
"Who got you a dog" June yells Alex points at me as she gasps. Every one walk in the office "happy birthday fuck face" Alex rolls his eyes
"Thank you dick face" Mark laughs and pats his back. "Let go to the living room so we can talk about today plan" they nod everyone sits down. "Alright so
I rented a beach house for all of us for the the weekend,
so hopefully no one is busy we leave today and come home Monday afternoon" they nod "so please free out your schedule for Alexander here, and you all may go pack for this weekend" they nod "we all meet up here so everyone come around 9:30 ish" they nod.
"Okay but who and who?" Ellen asks "well you guys obviously Nora and Pez" she nods "is his father coming?" I shrug "I told him but I don't know he didn't text me back" Alex nods. After a little while everyone leaves to go pack, I sit next to Alex "baby am sorry I tried to get to co- it's okay. All I need is you guys and am complete" Alex says getting up walking upstairs. I sigh, I walk upstairs Alex smiles I open my arms for a hug and his smile instantly drops, Alex sobs I rub his back "I don't know what I did wrong" he whispers "I try Henry I tried so hard but he just won't let himself" Alex sobs I kiss his temple "sweetheart sometimes you can't try to fix something that doesn't want to be fix" he sniffs "I know. But he can't even be with us for one fucking minute" he pulls away and puts himself together
"But am not going to let him mess up this weekend" "Alex don't hide this pain, come here" I hold his hand and make him sit on the bed he looks at his feet, I lift his chin I wipe his tears from his face "like you would tell me, let me take the pain" he sobs wrapping his arms around my shoulder "Henry I just want to be apart of his life both June and I want to be apart of his family" he mumbles I kiss his temple "he doesn't want us Henry" I lift his face "look at me" I whisper Alex soft glossy eyes meet mine "Alex you are doing so good, I am so proud of the man you are. But if your dad can't see that then I can't help but tell him he lost, he lost on the chance of seeing his son ve this awesome man, one hell of a gentleman and a fucking great worker. You can't ask people to be in your life, and it hurts but you can't ask people to stay" his eyes fill up with tears "he was here Henry. We had him then he met here and she hated us a-and he picked her over us and it hurts because out of most people I never thought he would pick her over his kids" Alex sobs "I just want to feel his love again" he whispers "will you ever leave me" I cup his cheeks "I promise you, I will never leave you. I will be right here holding your hand or the shoulder you could cry on am not leaving we said together" more tears fall onto his face "you mean it" I nod "together remember" he nods I lay his head on my shoulder I continue to wipe his tears "I just want him to love me again" every word he just said broke my heart. Alex goes to grab suitcase "it's packed already" I nod.
"I packed all your beach clothes and your work out clothes well you need your hair products and stuff but yeah"
Alex give me a soft smile "what would I do without you"
I kiss his hand.
