I was at Demetri's doing my make up. We were invited to a "before Christmas" party by Sam with the Miyagi-do's.
I was hanging out with him before, so we decided his mom could drive us.
"I can't believe you're with Yasmine now." I grinned as he was chatting with her the whole time. His gips was finally off.
"I can't believe your friends with Moon now." He gagged back.
"It's not that unbelievable." I responded, looking in the mirror back at him.
"Well, it kinda is. She was always putting things in your bag as kids, she used to spread rumors about you and she was dating Eli." Demetri pointed.
"She wasn't dating Eli." I said and got his attention, "They only were a nightstand."
"Funny one." Demetri answered, clearly not believing me.
"It's true. She told me."
"Well, then, let me remind you of the pictures they posted on Instagram with the 'I love you' and everything." He said and it hit me like a kick in my guts.
How could I have forgotten that.
Demetri saw the realization in my eyes. He must have thought I was joking around or anything. But I wasn't.
"But- why did she lie to me?" I asked him confused.
"I don't know. Ask her?" He said and looked back at his phone, chatting with Yasmine.
I quickly pulled out my phone and started texting moon. I can't believe her. And that's the reason I hate her.
