Dazed and Confused

The Car Crash/Hospital

Jughead and Betty are in the car on the way to the Whyte Wyrm for a celebration with the Serpents.

"Jug, is this party gonna be crazy?", Betty asked.

"Nah, don't worry it won't get out of control, I'll make sure of that," Jughead replied.

Suddenly a drunk driver was heading towards them.

"Juggie, look out!" Betty yells.

Jughead quickly tries to turn to the side of the road before the other car hits them, but it's too late. The other car sideswipes them and the next thing they know, they are in a ditch. Jughead gets out of the car and rushes over to the passenger's side.

"Betty! Betty!", he says in a panic and she doesn't respond. "Oh my god! Betty, come on, wake up, please!" he says desperately, shaking her trying to get her to wake up.

Betty lays there unconscious and not responding.

"Oh my god!," Jughead quickly pulls out his phone and dials 911, he tells them where they are and everything and in about five minutes an ambulance arrives.

The paramedics rush out of the van with a stretcher and put Betty on it and put the stretcher in the back of the van. A paramedic asks Jughead if he would like to ride along and Jughead just nods cuz he can't find his voice right now.

A few minutes later, they are at the hospital and Betty's lying in a hospital bed still unconscious. Jughead's sitting in a chair beside her holding her hand. Several hours later, she wakes up.

"Betts, are you awake?", Jughead asks.

"Yeah," she says looking really confused.

"Hey, what's wrong, sweetie?," Jughead asks holding her hand.

"I...I remember you but I don't remember anything else," she says.

"Nothing at all? Not even the car crash?" he asks concerned.

"No," she says looking at him with tears in her eyes all scared.

"Shh shh, it's ok. We'll get through this, I promise," he says gently caressing her hand with his thumb.
