The next day, Veronica and Eddie stepped into the recording studio again. Veronica had a good idea when she had some flow with her lyrics while telling Eddie to add auto-tune for the last verse. He agreed with what she said, and Veronica prepared to go to the booth and start singing to practice her songwriting.
Eddie: Here we go. *playing the track*
Veronica: *singing* When the shadows fall, and I'm feeling low,
(Background) Can you hear me calling?
I reach out my hand, but I feel so alone,
(Background) Can you feel me falling? You're my number one, my heart's own song,
(Background) Oh, you know it's true,
In a world so cold, you keep me strong,
(Background) I'll always stand by you.(Verse 2: Lead)
Every tear I cry, it's a battle fought,
(Background) Can you feel my pain?
But your love's a light that can't be bought,
(Background) You're the hope in my rain. You're my number one, my heart's own song,
(Background) Oh, you know it's true,
In a world so cold, you keep me strong,
(Background) I'll always stand by you.(Bridge: Lead)
Desperation's got a hold on me,
(Background) Oh, I can't let go,
But your voice, it brings me peace, you see,
(Background) You're the strength I know. When the nights are dark, and the road is long,
(Background) Can you feel me pleading?
I'll keep holding on, 'cause you're my song,
(Background) Your love is what I'm needing. You're my number one, my heart's own song,
(Background) Oh, you know it's true,
In a world so cold, you keep me strong,
(Background) I'll always stand by you.So here I am, with my heart in hand,
(Background) Can you feel me dreaming?
Through the storm and tide, together we'll stand,
(Background) Your love is what I'm needing.(Background: softly)
Number one, oh, you're my number one...
(Background: fading out)
Always stand by you, I'll always stand by you...Eddie: *looks at her and feels her voice*
Veronica: *smiles widely at him*
Later that night, Thomas and Tabitha were likely there for two hours in Coney Island when they got on a couple of rides, sat at the table eating, and wandered around together.
Tabitha: Honey, I'm tired. Can we just go home now?
Thomas: Why should you? It is as if we are walking to the exit, right?
Tabitha: *looks up at the sign* It is now.
Thomas: It's been wild for us, and then tomorrow, everything will be different no matter what.
Mark and Susan: *getting cotton candy together*
Mark: Another day, another chance.
Susan: By any means necessary.
Mark: *hearing*
Susan: *eating it*
Mark: Do you see why you are loving this?
Susan: Yeah! Why not?
Mark: *walking around with her*
Susan: *holds his hand while walking* Look at this!
Mark: *follows Susan*
After Moby and Amy got off the ride, they felt insane for getting on the same ride twice while walking out of there smiling simultaneously.
Amy: I felt like I was gonna cry.
Moby: Don't, don't.
Amy: I can't help it, Moby. I don't like to get screwed myself.
Moby: *hearing*
Blake sat on her bed at Hadley's house while Hadley made him quiet down. She knew what had gotten to his mind after Blake had lost the job because he was on the other side.
Hadley: I'm sorry about your job.
Blake: And my friend is about to turn on me. Suckers. I am no longer afraid of anyone else; I have to do my own right now.
Hadley: *hearing*
Blake: I've already started my organization instead of a regular job because I work for these days. And now, I like that shit.
Hadley: What on earth are you talking about instead of a regular job?
Blake: You know what, forget it. My headache is killing me for no reason. Everybody hates me, and I know it.
Hadley: I don't hate you at all.
Blake: What the fuck am I supposed to do?
Hadley: You have to figure that out yourself. Why would you stay in my crib for the night to make you cool off?
Blake: Sounds like a plan.
Hadley: *hearing*
