Break up?

It is hard to love someone when you don't love yourself.

How do you expect to live someone when you can't love yourself?

Those were two sentences that ran around his head. He sighed as he brushed his medium length hair. It had gotten long over these past few months.

He should really cut it off.

He loves his boyfriend so fucking much. He couldn't break up with him. Yet, he had to. This relationship was hurting them both.

Maybe in another life they would have worked out. Or maybe, just maybe later on in this short life.

He walked into the cafe and the bell rang. The air smelled of coffee and pastries. Those smells usually meant good for him, but today in was nauseating.

He needed to get this done with.

He noticed the black haired man at the corner of the cafe sitting on their usual spot. He smiled and waved as he walked towards the area.

He sat down and they both gave a nervous smile.

The ravenet put his calloused hand in his and his stomach filled with butterflies once more. God. How could they break up?

"Joshua.. I want to talk of something." The ravenet whispered as he looked to the side, still keeping his hand on top of the brunets.

"Yeah.. me too Paul.." Joshua sighed as his stomach started to flip.

Everything was so different when they had serious talk.

"Do you want to say it first?"

Joshua looked straight into the green pair of eyes, before softening his own.

"At the same time?" He asked.

"At the same time." The taller man confirmed.

"We should break up."

"I don't think it's the right time for us to date."

Both their eyes widened as they stared at each other in shock. Soon after, they both bursted out in laughter and giggles.

They both calmed down before the brunet started to speak.

"I love you Paul, but I think we both need to focus on ourselves." Joshua stated sadly.

Paul cupped Joshua's cheeks and kissed his forehead.

"Me too, it's best if we stay friends for now." He smiled.

Hi y'all, so this is a really quick and shitty chapter. And I know some may be disappointed in their break up. But I promise more is to come of these two so keep a look out! Also this is set before "Accidental" almost a year before it!
