Part:1

It's been like this ever since she was young. Forgotten by everyone. No matter how many times she tried to include herself, no one noticed her efforts.

And when she finally found people who actually liked her, she left. It seems as though the world forgot that she had feelings too.

She watched her friends figures get smaller. They didn't even notice she was all the way behind.

Her heart burned from pain. She sucked in her lips before stopping and wiping her eyes. She waited for five minutes in that spot, near the lamp pole. Waiting for one of her friends to notice she was gone, and then pulling her into the group.

Yet, no matter how long she waited, no one came. Looked like they were already too far away.

She sighed before deciding to walk home. Wasn't like things were better there anyways.

As she opened the door to her home, a strong smell of alcohol hit her in the face.

she felt her heart break all over again. She kept waiting, she kept hoping that one day, her mother would stop her horrible tendencies and things would go back to how they were before. Happy and free.

Looked like her mom drank a little too much again, because when she came to the living room, her mom was passed out on the sofa with bottles of alcohol laying everywhere.

She took off her shoes and put down her purse and picked up the green bottles and threw them away.

There were still some that had a bit left in it, so she just poured them into a big glass.

She sighed in disappointment before looking at the fridge door where there was a piece of paper stuck on it next to some old photos from her childhood.

The piece of paper listed her chores to do. She turned her head to face her mother. Her heart stung seeing her mother like this.

Her mom had always been so energetic and loving before the passing of her late father. Since that day, she's changed..

Everyone had. Everyone in her immediate family seemed so dull and numb..

Especially her. She was what everyone called a "daddy's girl". Her father was her best friend. Her father always made her feel loved. He was like the sun on a cold day, warms you up no matter how sad or cold you'd feel.

She took out the chicken before starting to wash it. Even though she was vegetarian, she was pretty darn good at cooking meat.

After she had finished cooking the chicken, she brought out some marinated tofu she made the day before. She also started to make the pasta sauce.

Her mother hated the fact she became vegetarian. In fact, ever since her father's death, her mother hated everything about her. She still cared obviously, but she seemed so distant now. All she did was drink and critique her.

It sure as hell hurt.

Her siblings were all busy with their own life and her younger siblings were taken away by her older sister.

She was all alone.

No one was there for her anymore.

She deserved it.

She was so annoying. No one liked her. No one wanted to be her friend. She was always left out. She never understood the inside jokes made by her friends. She was always walking behind everyone. No one noticed her unless when she was angry.

After finishing dinner, she took her purse and walked towards her room. She entered the piece before locking the door.

She sat down on the chair in front of her desk before opening her phone.

In the group chat everyone was talking about their day. Their day without her.

Her eyes started burning. Her tears were threatening to escape as she saw how on the only photo she was in; no one was genuinely smiling, no one looked like they wanted to be there with her.

But when she left, they all looked so alive and happy.

She was the problem. She had always been the problem, ever since she was young.

She closed her phone before putting it in the charger. She wiped her eyes before opening her closet.

She took out her pajamas and quickly stripped off before putting the clothes on.

It wasn't anything special, just a black oversized skull T-shirt and black sweatpants.

She opened her door before walking downstairs to the dining room. Her mom was already there, sitting on the chair and most likely waiting for her.

"You can eat mama." She said as she sat down in front of her mother.

Her mother didn't respond though, she took her fork and started eating the bowl of pasta. Jamie internally sighed before putting some pasta in her bowl.

As she ate, she looked at her mom. Trying to find kindness in her eyes, the woman who wasn't afraid of showing love to her daughter. Yet, no matter how deep Jamie looked, there was nothing.

Her mom had heavy red eye bags and her hair was a mess, there were so many spilt ends and it was so frizzy and dry.

After awhile, her mother started to speak.

"Jamie, why don't you eat the chicken you made?" Her mother asked.

Jamie groaned in annoyance. Not this discussion again.

"Mama, you know I don't eat meat anymore."

"Why don't you now?" Her mother asked, rasing her voice. "You know the meat has a lot of nutritional values! You should eat more meat!"

The 19 year-old rubbed her face in annoyance. Why couldn't he mom just accept the fact she doesn't want to eat meat anymore?

"Mama, please not today."

Though, her mother didn't stop, she kept criticizing her until she got too pissed off and left to go to her room.

She laid down on her bed and took out her phone. She had somewhat hoped that someone had texted her and sent her a notification, though to her dismay, no one did.

It wasn't shocking for her, yet it still hurts. No matter how much she tried to talk and be extroverted, no one noticed her efforts.

Why even try?

She will always remain forgotten and alone.

A/n: I don't know when part 2 will be out, but I'll try to get it out before the holidays. I really wanted people to know the pain my girl Jamie has went through and still feels. I know this is really badly made and I'll most likely edit this and add more details, but here's part one for now. Thank you for reading<3
