Hiyori once lived a simple life. The middle child of their family and a cafe barista, they breezed easily through their life with little care in the world, wanting for little more than what they already had. When one average day suddenly turns into a nightmare in the blink of an eye, all Hiyori can do is focus. Focus on getting home, focus on getting back to their sisters. They'll do whatever it takes.
When they get dragged to some strange place called the Beach, some kind of so-called 'utopia' in this crumbling Tokyo, they find maybe they had been missing something in their life. What starts as something of an unlikely friendship turns quickly into more the longer they spend around a certain militant.
NOTE. Hiyori is amab nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns. Please do not refer to them as a 'girl' or by 'she/her'.
