She is beautiful. Never in my life have I seen a woman so gorgeous. I stare at her like I'm in a trance. I must be, because it's impossible to look away. Her red lips. Her soft closed eyes. He long blonde hair. Her hips. Her hands in the red sparkly...

I rush back to my makeup table to fix what my tears destroyed. I was just on the verge of a mental breakdown but thanks to Michael that didn't happen. I need to find a way to thank him later.
"5 minutes everybody!" Richard yells. Fuck! Only 5? I need to calm down. I have performed so many times, but this is the only time that matters. I just have to act like he isn't here. I'll be fine. It's going to be okay.
The dress I wear is the most expensive I have ever worn. Richard wants it all to be perfect. The dress is a stunning vision of elegance and sophistication, fitting perfectly into the bustling, vibrant atmosphere of the nightclub. The gown is a deep, rich blue, almost like the color of the midnight sky, shimmering under the soft lights. It hugs my figure gracefully, the fabric flowing effortlessly down to the floor. The neckline is modest yet alluring, adorned with delicate lace that adds a touch of intricate beauty. It isn't a big dress so its easier to dance in. My hair is styled in soft waves, cascading down my shoulders, catching the light with every movement. But it won't be enough to get this club some sponsors. I really hope this song was the right choice. I can't doubt my decisions now!
Even though I speak fluent French I haven't spoken French in forever...I really hope everything works out.
"2 minutes!" Richard yells. Its fine. I can do this. Lacy walks up to me. "Are you ready?" she asks. "Of course," I answer. "I have waited my whole life for this moment".
Before I know it, I'm standing on the stage. A spotlight is directed right at me. Everything is silent. For the first time since I left my home, I feel scared. The sponsors sit right in front of me. I can see my dad smiling up at me. I know he only does it to make me uncomfortable. I'm so tired of him playing is stupid games. I really hope everything works out. I can also see Michael. Our eyes meet. "You got this" he mouths to me. I take a deep breath before I begin to sing.
"Écoutez-moi" I sing telling them to listen to me. Now the music begins. A soft piano follows my voice. Fuck im scared. I need to calm down or else it won't well. Just focus. Just focus.
"Moi, la chanteuse à demi" I sing soft. "Parlez de moi À vos amours, à vos amis" talk about me to your lovers to your friends, I sing.
"Parlez-leur de cette fille aux yeux noirs et de son rêve fou
Moi c'que j'veux, c'est écrire des histoires qui arrivent jusqu'à vous
C'est tout"
Now it's time for the chorus.
"Voilà, voilà, voilà, voilà qui je suis
Me voilà, même si mise à nu, j'ai peur, oui
I sing about that I am here. I sing about that I'm afraid and I sing about how I am here in the noise and the silence.
"Regardez-moi, ou du moins ce qu'il en reste" As I sing about them looking at me or whats left the dancers begin to walk on stage.
"Regardez-moi, avant que je me déteste
Quoi vous dire, que les lèvres d'une autre ne vous diront pas
C'est peu de chose, mais moi tout ce que j'ai je le dépose là, voilà"
As I sing the dancers form a perfect circle around me. I look towards the audience. All I see is heads with no faces. Must be because of the spotlight. I'm glad I can't see my dad's face but, I'm sad I can't see Michael's.
"Voilà, voilà, voilà, voilà qui je suis
Me voilà, même si mise à nu, c'est fini
The dancers dance wilder around me, but still keeps the perfect circle intact. Now they fall to the ground, so the audience only focuses on me at this part of the song.
"Ne partez pas, j'vous en supplie, restez longtemps
Ça m'sauvera peut-être pas, non
Mais faire sans vous j'sais pas comment
Aimez-moi comme on aime un ami qui s'en va pour toujours
J'veux qu'on m'aime parce que moi, je sais pas bien aimer mes contours"
Everything is silent while I sing, except for the music of course. I can feel sweat forming in my hands. I haven't moved my feet an inch while singing. Its only my arms this make movements.
"Voilà, voilà, voilà, voilà qui je suis
Me voilà même si mise à nu, c'est fini
The dancers have partnered up with the opposite gender and now dances around in the perfect circle as if it was a ball. As I sing about my anger I feel the power in my voice.
"Regardez-moi enfin et mes yeux et mes mains
Tout c'que j'ai est ici, c'est ma gueule, c'est mon cri
Me voilà, me voilà, me voilà"
The woman dancers step out of the circle forming a new circle. They stand and stomp their feet to the music.
"Voilà, voilà, voilà, voilà"
The men spin faster and faster around me.
"la dee la la la da la da la da la dee da duh duh duh la la la la laaa!"
As I sing to the music, the men spin me around in circle until I finally stand in the front of the stage.
"Voila!" I sing a last time as everything turns silent. The light come on and I see the audience faces. It looks like some of then cried. That's a good sign, right?
Suddenly Alexandre stands up and claps. He stops for a moment to wipe a tear away. Then everybody calps. "Bravo!" he says with his French accent. What is going? Everybody is standing up and clapping. I look over at Richard who smiles back at me. I give a little nod to show my appreciation before me and the dancers walk backstage.
