She is beautiful. Never in my life have I seen a woman so gorgeous. I stare at her like I'm in a trance. I must be, because it's impossible to look away. Her red lips. Her soft closed eyes. He long blonde hair. Her hips. Her hands in the red sparkly...

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. The days all seem to go too fast or too slow. When I'm working in the club everything seems like it's in slow motion. When I'm with Michael the hours seem to go by as seconds. Only enough to blink my eye and then he's gone, and I'm stuck writing my next song. I don't know how to feel. My life seems much more enjoyable with Michael around. Every little detail I appreciate a little more. The inner turmoil from my past, the wounds I buried for so long finally starting to heal. With Noah gone everything seems almost perfect again...almost. There was one problem. Lacy.
Lacy is sweet and funny but also flirty and selfish. I'm having a hard time reading her. It seems like all she wants is to be my friend but at the same time she hits on Michael well aware that we're together. It frustrates me that I can't tell what she really wants. Is she actually my friend or just using me for something? Is she just like Noah? The thought hurts more than I thought it would.
It's early morning. I'm sitting in the club by my makeup table. I sit with the blank paper in front of me. What to write? I have no idea. I'm about to get up to ask William for help like I usually do when I'm stuck, but two strong arms that wrap loosely around my neck stop me. I gasp out of surprise, but my shocked expression quickly turns to joy when I look up and see Michael looking down at me with a smirk.
"Hello Ash" he says teasingly, leaning closer so our faces are only inches apart.
"Hello Mike" I say reaching up and gently booping his nose with my finger. My smile turns wider when I see his slightly surprised face. He was clearly taken of guard. I smile at his expression.
Michael opens his mouth to speak but before a single sound can escapes his lips we're interrupted by Lacy of all people.
"Oh hello there Michael~" Lacy says leaning against the mirror of my makeup table. Why is she saying his name like that? So...flirty. It's like she thinks she's better than me. Like she's trying to steal Michael from me.
"Uhm hello?" Michael says hesitantly. I look up at him to see his facial expression. It seems like he's biting his tongue. His brows are turned downward giving his gaze an edge I've only seen a few times. I can feel his hands go to my shoulders. He starts massaging my sore muscles almost possessively. He clearly doesn't like Lacy's presence.
"If you aren't too busy tonight, you can come over to my place" Lacy says it like it isn't an offer, but a demand. She pushes herself off my makeup mirror and approaches Michael. Her hips sway in such a flirty way, I almost can't stand it. She stops right by the side of my chair, but she completely ignores me. She suddenly grabs Michael's tie from his soldier uniform with her elegant hand and pulls him closer. They're so close, their faces only inches apart. I can't stand looking at how close his lips are to hers. Michael is clearly surprised by the sudden pull and closeness. "I'm sure it's much comfier than a hotel room" Lacy says with that flirty smirk. Her red lips so close to his. Her eyes looking deeply into his eyes. His eyes. The ones he looks at me with. The eyes that captured my heart. And now he's looking with those eyes at her. Lacy.
