Pov: Karan

I'm scared about Advika. How is she gonna overcome the loss. I can't able to console her because I'm also broken. But I can't let my Advi struggle.

I have many questions. Why did someone try to attack my Advi? How come Rafael is there on the scene? I need to interrogate Rafael. He must know something about the incident. If he knows why, he didn't warn us.

I told Mrs.Chandru to take care of her while I'm away. I know she is the mother of Advi, but still, I need to know my Advi is safe. I left some guards to protect Advi.

I reached Rafael house and rang the bell. The maid led me to the sofa. I sat on the sofa and waited for Rafael's arrival. He came from his room wearing sweat pants. He sat beside me. He gave me an expression like he had already expected my arrival.

"I need to know the truth. How did you know about the attack?" Karan demanded Rafael for an answer, which must be the truth.

" Karan, I'm not your best friend. I'm adopted by your father when my mom and dad attacked by the EAGLE  group. He rescued and started to train me to replace me as a leader for the Wizard group.Do you really think your Dad will cut the ties with Italian Mafia?? No. He doesn't want you to be involved. So he trained me so that I could take over his business and protect you. I promised Papa that I would fill his promise. Italian Mafia trusted our group to the extreme. So we will be loyal to them, and they will protect us from the enemies. "Karan is shocked to hear the words what Rafael is saying. Rafael took a pause and started to speak.

"The thing that happened to your wife is unexpected.The William who tried to rape your wife is taken care of with the help of Mafia, and we thought that William chapter is over and you can lead your healthy life with Advi. But who thought his brother would take revenge for his brother William's death. So we are going to shift you to our guarded penthouse to protect you and your wife and also to fulfill my promise." Rafael said in a single breath.

Karan is stunned and tries to understand Rafael's word.

" Why did you hide the truth from me? If you told me, I would prevent the miscarriage of my girl and her trauma. But it's too late. If you gave the promise to protect me, then why didn't you protect me and fulfill the promise?? WHY?WHY?" Karan shouted.

"You know what I'm done with your fucking gangster story and I'm going to leave this country with my girl." Karan get up to leave the place.

"No, you can't because your wife is in my penthouse waiting for you, and once you step inside the house, then you will never leave the house till William's brother chapter is over. So the choice is yours you can leave the country without your wife ar you can stay in the penthouse with your wife till I handle the problem of Chase who is the brother of William. " Rafael smirked.

Without any choice, Karan headed to the penthouse. He can't leave his girl alone in the mess. Karan is thinking about how to kill the chase. No one knows that Karan has stronger power than Rafael because he is the leader of Italian Mafia. He knows about Rafael's story and still acts like he doesn't know the things his father is doing.

Karan helped an old man in a club from a fight. But he doesn't know the person he tried to save is none other than the Mafia leader. He doesn't have any son's to replace his place. So he asked Karan to take over his place because he knows that Karan is suitable for the position.  Karan's curiosity made him accept the offer. Karan asked one request that his identity must be hidden till he feels the correct time to reveal his identity.  Now Karan feels the correct time to reveal his identity.  But he thought that the first person who needs to know the truth must be his girl Advi. So he rushed towards the penthouse and saw his girl sleeping on the king-size bed. The peace in her sleep. This made Karan think about finishing the matter soon and make the peace in her face forever without any fear. He promised himself to adjust himself to lay beside her. He pulled her close  and holded her tightly, and he fell asleep soon.
