YUGANTIKA IYENGAR
"You cannot fight your doom. It will fucking destroy you, Pookie."
She laughed, wrecking it deep within her guts. A voice that could slice through all the weak hearts. "No one can bring doom on me."...

Ravenstone, a diamond house that had taken the market by storm, was managed, owned, and operated by a man Tushar would have avoided three months ago. But now, he had to meet Arjun Thakur head-on.
Arjun was the dealer Daivik had worked with. The shipments Tushar had helped deliver belonged to him and another major player, Agastya Rajput. Agastya's ties with the royal family of Manwar had concealed the darkness he carried. He wasn't just a businessman but a world-renowned smuggler of exquisite stones and diamonds, operating under the guise of his shipping business.
Stepping into their orbit meant entering a world of white-collar criminals, and Tushar wanted nothing to do with them. He was determined to keep Horizon free of their influence.
The brief handshake with Arjun made Tushar stiffen and heightened his vigilance.
"We are not partners, Mr. Thakur," Tushar asserted, trying to distance himself.
"Ever the saint, Tushar Subramaniam," Arjun smirked smugly. "Once you step in, there's no way out of our world. By helping Wolf, you've made quite an entrance into our syndicate. It's only a matter of time before you're officially invited to our meetings."
"Do not be mistaken," Tushar clarified. "It was a one-time thing, an exchange of favors and nothing more."
"Not if Wolf is still backing you," Arjun replied, clicking his tongue in disappointment. "If it weren't for Anchor's absence, you wouldn't be in the picture."
Tushar furrowed his brows at the reference but chose not to ask, avoiding any sign of curiosity that might give them an opening.
"Oh, you're clueless about him, aren't you?" Arjun chuckled. "Well, what should we call you? Saint suits you better. Or do you prefer Sky? Falcon?"
"None," Tushar clipped, sipping his glass of water. "I am never going to be a part of your gang."
"I think I'll like you, man," Arjun clapped him on the shoulder. "You'd fit right in."
"I am not..."
"You will, because your woman," Arjun smiled, glancing at Yugantika behind Tushar, "will receive our backing, protection, and our name. I know you would follow her right to us."
With his lips stretching into a tight line, Tushar narrowed his eyes. "Yugantika will never."
"She is, Subramaniam," Arjun's smirk turned lopsided. "And I'm glad you acknowledge her as yours. I like that too."
"She is not my woman," Tushar gritted, struggling to resist the urge to storm off and confront the infuriating woman. "I see your wife looking for you. I won't hold you back."
Arjun's eyes flicked towards a woman in a light green chiffon saree, looking every bit uneasy amidst the socializing. Her eyes were unfocused as she played with the strings of diamonds around her wrist. She looked like a newly married woman, but there was no softening of her dread standing alone in the middle of the group.
