Anshika's Pov

We both reached our house at the same time, but he didn't notice me. He was lost in his thinking.

I thought I just needed to talk with him, but suddenly I realised my mistakes and the past, and I stopped myself.

I went into my apartment and laid down on my bed.

My mind just started to process everything, and I'm remembering our last meeting.

It was the last day of our 7th standard class.

The result was distribution, and everyone was so happy.

Raj was so happy at that time, and he brought his new laptop to school to show his friends.

He was in a good mood, and he topped the class as always.

I was going to talk with him, but suddenly a boy came to him and started to play with his laptop without his permission. He was so angry, and he punched him.

Raj has no control over his anger.

Then they started to fight. And then two teachers come and separate them.

He was not in a good mood now, but still, I went to him.

Hi, Raj. Are you okay now?

Hi, Anshika. Ya, I'm okay. What about you?

How much did you get?

As always, second topper. You never give me a chance to win.

Hehe, sorry. (Raj, smile.)

Bo, it's okay. Actually, I want to say something.

Can you please come with me to the garden?

Sure.

Then we went into the garden, and I told him that I was leaving this school and going to another city to study.

What? Why? (He asked in shock.)

Actually, my father had transferred to another city, so I had to leave.

So, this is the end of our friendship?

No, no. We will be in touch. (It's hard for me too, but I can't do it at that time.)

And that's why I bring you here. I want to say something.

Go on, Anshika. (Raj was listening with focus.)

Actually, I l...

Anshika, let's go. (Yash Bhaiya called me.)

And he started to come to me.

Raj, I have to leave, but do one thing for me.

Please come to the cafeteria at 5 p.m.

I really want to tell you something, and it's too important. Please come there.

And I left from there with my brother.

Who's he? Why are you talking with him?(Bhaiya asked me.)

He is my friend and my classmate. (I replied with confidence.)

Then we reached the house, and I showed my marks to my parents, and they were happy but a little sad because I came in second.

Then I went into the room and waited for 5 p.m.

It's 4:00, and I started to get ready and got ready at 4:30. I started to leave because the cafeteria is like 20 minutes away from my house.

I came downstairs, and when I was at the main gate of my house, my little brother came to me and said that my father was calling me in the drawing room.

I don't want to be late, so I went into the drawing room.

I went inside, and my mom and dad were sitting there, and my brother was standing there in front of them.

My brother looked at me, gave me the way, and went to the side.

Everyone was so quiet there. My little brother is looking inside from the gate.

Sit in front of us, Anshika. (My father ordered me.)

I didn't get anything, but I clearly saw the matter was serious.

What's the matter, dad? (I asked in tension.)

Who is he? (My dad asked me.)

Who? Dad.

The boy you're talking with? (My dad is angry.)

Oh, he is my classmate, and he is the topper.

Because of him, I got the second position.

What are you talking with him about?

I'm just congratulating him, and then I come with Bhaiya.

Where are you going now? (My dad is asking me questions again and again.)

What is the matter, dad? You never asked my questions like that.

Just answer the questions. Where are you going?

At Rimi House We're going to celebrate at her house.

Call her. (My dad said.)

Why?

I said, Just call her. I want to talk with her.

{I picked up my phone and called Rimi; I know it's a trap. But fortunately, Rimi didn't pick up the call.}

I think she is busy.

Look, you have all of our reputation; we never say no to anything about you. Just remember one thing: don't do anything for which I need to be ashamed in front of everyone.

Trust me, dad. I will never do anything that makes you sad or ashamed.

Can I leave now? (I asked.)

No, go into your room. (My mom said.)

Why? What's the problem now?

You're not going anywhere; we're all going to the restaurant at night. So stay here and make your plans with Rimi for some other day.

But, mom.

Do whatever I say. Go into your room. I'm coming there in 5 minutes.

I got angry and went into my room with an angry face.

I saw the time, and it was 5:30.

Sh*t, now I am not even sure if he came there or not.

Everything is messed up here.

Tears are coming out of my eyes. I took a deep breath, thinking about him, and now I can't even see him.

We're shifting to another city in a weak. And the school declared a holiday for two weeks. I don't know where he lives. I don't have his contact number. How can I find him?

How can I meet him now?

Suddenly, I heard someone's footsteps, and I wiped out my tears, and my mom came into my room.

And now, I don't even remember what she said.

Suddenly, something fell in my room, and I came back from my flashback.

Tears are still in my eyes. But now I don't want to let this happen again.
