24. Mysterious Pink Packet

Wei Wuxian and Wei Ying go to their room to sleep, then Lan Wangji remembers that he has bought a gift for both of them which he forgot to give.

Lan Wangji stands outside his hotel room's door, excitement written all over his face as he is going to give a gift to both of them for the first time.

Lan Wangji’s holding two pink-colored packets and waiting for Wei Wuxian and Wei Ying to answer the door.

Lan Wangji knocks softly, and after a moment, the door swings open then Wei Wuxian and Wei Ying look out with curiosity.

Lan Wangji is cheerfully says to them, "Gege, I have a small gift for both of you."

Wei Wuxian and Wei Ying exchange puzzled glances then Lan Wangji’s face is beaming as he extends his hands holding the two pink packets.

Lan Wangji looks pleased with himself, having thought he picked out something special.

Both Wei Wuxian and Wei Ying reach out their hands, and Lan Wangji places one pink packet in each of their palms.

Wei Wuxian is looking down at the packet, confused then he asks, "Uh, Little brat, what's this?"

Wei Ying is frowning and examining the packet and with blush face he asks, "Yeah, this looks kind of unusual. Is this really what you brought for the two of us?"

Lan Wangji is smiling dumbfoundedly and he replies cutely, "It’s a gift. I saw these in our city and thought you both might like it."

Wei Wuxian is raising an eyebrow and says with confusion, "Are you sure about this gift? It looks quite weird."

Wei Ying is interrupting and whispering slowly to Wei Wuxian, "It's a condom. Do you see that?"

Both brothers peer at the packets, their confusion growing as they recognize the labels in Spanish.

The realization hits them like a ton of bricks then Lan Wangji is completely unaware of what he’s given, continues to smile.

Lan Wangji is still smiling dumbfoundedly so he asks with curiosity, "How do you both like my gift?"

Wei Wuxian and Wei Ying are stunned into silence for a moment and the shock turns into laughter as they struggle to keep their composure.

Wei Wuxian starts to chuckle, and Wei Ying follows suit even they both can’t help but find the situation incredibly amusing.

Wei Wuxian is trying to suppress laughter but he can't control his laughter and he says while laughing, "Little brat, you really outdid yourself this time."

Wei Ying is grinning devilishly and he says, "Yeah, definitely a unique gift. We never expected you to bring us this as your first gift."

Lan Wangji is looking puzzled and he asks in surprise, "Is something wrong with the gift? Did I choose something inappropriate? Gege Why are you both laughing so much looking at my gift? Do you find it funny?"

Wei Wuxian is trying to be serious but failing so  he replies with a naughty smile, "Well, it's certainly not what we were expecting. These are not exactly what we would consider a typical gift."

Wei Ying is jokingly teasing Lan Wangji with his naughty statement, "Yes, especially not for tonight because today we were thinking about taking some rest but now we don't understand whether it would be right to take rest or we should think about something else."
