"Find them!"

"Kill them all!"

The soldiers run amok the castle, finding the royal family, starting in the throne room. They found no trace of the king and queen and kept roaming around the castle. As the last guard exits the room, the portrait behind the throne budged.

"Are they gone, father?" A silent, gentle voice whispered behind the portrait.
"Yes, they might go next to the upper chamber, we must hurry, Anne!" followed by a rough voice.
"If we pass this secret passageway, it will lead us outside, on the top of the castle. There we can do the ritual" whispered the King.

Anne nods silently and both of them walk fast in the secret passage that leads to the top of the castle. As they reached the top, they saw their kingdom in chaos. People screaming, soldiers fighting other soldiers, and the town is engulfed in flames. The princess is terrified, covering her mouth with both hands, as she sees her beloved home in a very bad state with tears in her eyes. The king grasps his hands as he's also terrified and frustrated.

"Only the prophecy can save us now. Let us keep going. We're almost there" said the king as he embraced Anne with comfort.
" Yes, Father..." she replied and wiped her tears out, showing that there was still hope for the people of Sandovaria. As they reached their destination, two women clad were waiting in the circle. One of them is wearing a tiara and a light blue and white dress and the other one, wearing white and gold armor.

"Mother! Lady Lenna! you came!" Anna rushed both of them and she hugged them with relief.
"I'm glad you're safe, Anna, Dear! Thank you for coming here safe" The queen smiled with tears in her eyes as she embraced Anne.

"I'm glad we're all here! Good thing we're not followed by those traitors!" said Lenna as she lashed out with frustration.
"It's alright Lenna, we never see this coming. We all did..." The king felt weary as he knew what they did was the wrong choice.
Don't blame yourself, Father! We are all tricked and we did not see it coming. But now, we finally have hope from the Goddess of Creation." Anne brought out a scroll and read out the inscriptions.

"The crisis of old has come, darkness will again shroud the world, the hero of old is no more, but a new hero will come and defeat the darkness within."

"Are you sure this will save our Kingdom?" The king asked.

"I don't know. The Goddess has sent me this a few days but I don't know what it means, until now" She walks slowly to the center of the circle.

"This summoning circle has been used by our ancestors to call upon the heroes from the stars, to defeat the evil in our world," Said Anne.

"But the last time was 1,500 years ago! We don't know if it still works or not!" replied the king.

"Yes.." Anne speaks softly. "But what choice do we have if we have to stop this chaos? Our only hope is the Goddess' will!" Anne draws a dagger from her dress and prepares the ritual.

"I, Princess Shayla Anne Sandovaria, will commence the Hero-Summoning Ritual! Oloria, Goddes of Creation, answer my plea!" She pricks her finger with the dagger and as a drop of her blood hits the ground, the circle glows, and a ray of beaming white light shines above the kingdom.

"It's working!" The king was amazed, gazing at the light.
"Are you alright? Anne!" the queen saw Anne in pain as she fell on one knee.

"I'm fine, mother! I have to keep praying so my answers will reach the heavens" Anne continued praying as the light grew brighter.

As the light keeps getting wider and brighter, suddenly, a black dagger hits the corner of the circle and the light is dimming down.

"What?! The light! It's... getting weak!" Anne was shocked as she saw the light getting smaller.
