HAYES POV
I'm home, I told them I needed some time, to focus on my own life. They all understood. Today I'm going to mall, makayla asked me if I wanted to go with her, so we're going to the mall, I think makaylas pretty and all, but i don't think I'm ready to be in a relationship yet. I just need time. My phone just buzzed. I pull my phone out of my pocket, and see Alexis texted me. I read the text, it says "um hayes, I seen you were home, I've been thinking about you a lot hayes, I still have feelings for you, eventually I want to be more than friends, I know your thinking, wtf you just broke up with me, i don't want to date right now, but a little later I hope we can. If you don't wanna reply I understand. I love you hayes." I throw my phone, and put my hands in my hair, and look at the ground. I'm frustrated, and sad, I thought I was getting over her.. But as soon as I read, I love you hayes, I realized I still love her and miss her so much, I'm going to text her back.

H- Alexis.. Hey.
A- u replied, hello..
H- idk what to say.
A- me either.
H- I miss when it wasn't awkward between us ):

H- damn, I never realized how hard it was to lose someone, what I mean is When you broke up with me, I felt like my life was over.

Makayla is here, i run outside and get in her sisters car, her sister is driving us. The mall should be fun I guess.
ALEXIS POV
I'm going to the mall today, with my friend Ashleigh, were gonna get our nails and hair done, and do some shopping! It should get hayes off my mind a little bit. Oh speaking of hayes, he texted back, I miss him more now. But Ashleigh just got here, I walk out to the car, and she gets out of her car, and gets in my sisters car, my sister is driving us.
*At the mall*
"Hey ash, look at this cute crop top!" I say, were in forever 21, "that's super cute!" She replies. "Im gonna try it on!" I say. I try it on, and we both say, "it's a sale!" We both laugh. We then stop at a piercing store, and I get a few belly button piercing, balbs, and just buy some new belly rings. We then walk around, and decide to eat. We eat at the Chinese place. As were in line, I smell a familiar cologne, and hear a familiar voice. I look behind me, and hayes is with some girl in line behind me. He seen me cause he was looking when I looked, I try to ignore him, me and ash get our food and sit down. That girl chooses the seat right in front of us, I can see hayes, he's sitting on the side so he can see me and I can see him, I can't help but stare, he's staring at me. I text him, saying "is that you.." I see him look at him phone. "Yes." He replies. I ignore the text. Wtf is she? She looks my way for a minute, it's makayla. Her and I never got along, she's always been, the girl who always has to be better than everyone, and all the boys like her, and always very snobby, and she always liked hayes, she told me once. I was nice and said "you can't change how you feel about someone, but, please respect he's dating me." She rolled her eyes and walked away.
HAYES POV
Alexis is at the mall. She doesn't like makayla, makayla always liked me, so in a way Alexis is prolly thinking, I moved on, but it's not like that. I see Alexis and her best friend, Ashleigh get up and throw there trash away, put there trays on the little counter above the trash, then walk away. I see them whispering. Ashleigh then looks back at me. Makayla, sees them, she then grabs my hands like we're holding hands, Alexis looks also, she has a look on her face of, i don't know how to describe it, like she was in shock, and like she was hurt, and sad. "I need to use the bathroom, please excuse me." I say, angrily letting go of makaylas hands. I walk Alexis way. I don't know what way she went? I find her, in hollister. "Can we talk-" I ask her. "Talk?" She asks. "Yes." I say looking down. "Say what you have to say, I have 3 mins then we're going to Aeropostale." She says, still looking at clothes. "Me and makayla aren't dating." "Okay." She says still looking at a shirt. "I gotta go, but I still love you Alexis." I say. "Okay bye, hayes." when I walk away I hear her very softly whisper, "I love you stud muffin." Oh how I miss her, but we do need a break.
MAKAYLA POV
"Hey!" I say as hayes comes back from the bathroom. I find hayes very attractive and, I hope we can become more than friends. Anyways he deserves way better then that ugly, annoying bitch Alexis. Ugh I hate her. "Hi." He says. "What store do you want to go to next?" I ask him. "I don't know." He says. "Okay, well want to walk around then if we see a store, that you want to go in, we can go in it?" I ask hayes grabbing his hand to hold. "Sure." He says. My hand is around his and I'm gripping on it and he's not gripping my hand back. Well if I grip my hand around his, maybe people will think we're a couple and maybe they'll know him and Alexis aren't together. A few fans come up to hayes and ask for a picture, one of them then asks hayes in front of me, "hey do you know where Alexis is, I really wanted to meet her, and get a picture with both of you." She says.
HAYES POV
A few fans just asked where Alexis was, cause she wanted to get a picture with Alexis and I. "I don't know where she is but I do know she is in the mall somewhere, I seen her earlier, let me call her and tell her there's some fans who want to meet her." I say, as I pull my phone out to call Alexis.
*the phone call* (a-Alexis h-hayes)
H- hey are you still here?
A- yes why?
H- cause there's some fans that asked to take a pic with me then they said they wanted to get a pic with just you then both of us with them.
A- okay, want me to meet you?
H- ya
A- k where are you at?
H- in front of American eagle
A- okay, I'll be there in a few, Ashleigh's checking out from Aeropostale right now, so after I'll be there, I'll try to hurry!
H- okay take your time haha!
A- okay hayes! See you in a few haha!
*end of convo*
"She'll be on her way in a minute, her friend is just now checking out of Aeropostale, but she'll be here in a minute she said." I say smiling at the fans. "OMG WERE MEETING ALEXIS TOO!!" I hear hear the girls, say as there talking in a little group. About two minutes later, I hear one of the girls cover her mouth with her hands, and one points to Alexis, and one says "OMG ITS HER!" Alexis walks up to them. "omg girl I love your shirt!" Alexis says to one of the fans. She then compliments them all, and we start taking pics. "Okay can I get one of you and hayes kissing around me and in the pic I'll point to you, or something?" The fan asks.
ALEXIS POV
hayes and I are meeting some amazing fans. One of them asked to get a picture with me and hayes kissing. As soon as she said that, I look at hayes, and he looks at me. I then walk up to hayes, and say, "looks like we have to kiss." "Looks like we do." He says winking, we then both walk back to the fans. "Okay, let's do this!" The fan says. "1-2-" I feel hayes soft lips crash my lips, i feel that familiar feeling in my stomach, that I get when I'm with him. The kiss didn't last long but I got those same butterflies I always get. Damn I miss him. "Thank you so much!" The fan says hugging me. "Of course! Thank you for supporting us!! Wanna be in my snapchat video?" I ask the fans. "Yes, of course!!" They all excitedly say. We then take a video and take a few more pictures, chat a bit, I then give them all hugs, and tell them thank you for all they do and that I love them so much. They then leave, and i can see hayes, Makayla is trying so hard to make a move on him. I mouth "enjoyed it." To hayes then walk away. I turn back one more time, and Makayla is sucking his face. Ugh. I need to go home. I'm sick of this bull shit, I text my sister to come pick us up and she gets here very quickly. We drop Ashleigh off and head home, I go to my room, change into some of hayes sweats, that I never gave back, and I put on a oversize shirt, that's also hayes. It still smells like him. I then lay down on my bed, open up my labtop, and go on YouTube to try to get hayes off my mind a bit. My background is a picture of hayes and me, the day we went to the beach, it's him and I kissing on the beach, me in his arms with my legs around him. "Ugh." I sigh. I really miss him. I do, a lot. Maybe I could FaceTime him? I'm gonna FaceTime him I know we're separated but I miss that familiar, comforting and soft voice. I'm going to FaceTime him on my laptop. He just answered my FaceTime!

HAYES POV
I was a bit rude on FaceTime with Alexis , but she did break up with me. I've been texting and calling her she's ignoring me, I know she's up because she's on Instagram. Makayla is texting me , she's honestly the last thing I need to ruin my life even more. If Alexis would've given me just 2 minutes to explain that Makayla basically shoved her tongue down my throat then it wouldn't be like this. it's been one hell of a long day. I'm going to bed. I text Alexis one more time saying , 'goodnight beautiful, sleep well. give me time to explain this all tomorrow. love u.'
