Nadiya took her mother to the market after she came back from Laila's house.

They didn't spend much time in the market after they bought what they needed. They head back home.

The next day, Mommy prepared her husband's favorite meal, a comforting combination of Pounded yam and egusi soup. While I made tamarind juice for him also. I set the dining table and waited for his arrival.

Daddy stepped through the door, and the tantalizing aroma of freshly pounded yam and egusi soup enveloped him, instantly transporting him back to the warmth of home. A broad smile graced his lips, a silent acknowledgment of the love and care that awaited him in every spoonful of the food

I ran to hug my father, I missed him so much. He left last week for a business trip.

He hugged me back. He came further inside the sitting room and sat on a couch.

"Daddy, Welcome back," Nadiya said to her father stretching her hand for a handshake.

"Thank You, my dear, how have you been, how is school?" He asked, returning the handshake with enthusiasm.

"I've been good Daddy, " She replied, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "School is going great, we even wrote a test yesterday," she gestured, holding up a thumb and flashing a confident grin.

"That's wonderful to hear, and I hope you tried your best," he said, his hand gently patting hers, "I'm proud of you," He nodded approvingly and gave her a thumbs up. "Keep up the great work dear! he encouraged, giving her a supportive pat on the shoulder.

"Thanks, Daddy," she said, her smile widening. She reached out and gave him a quick hug "I Will, InshaAllah," She then playfully nudged him with her elbow, a gesture of generosity.

"Hey girl, Let him be, you've been talking to him since he arrived," Mommy said while coming out from the kitchen with a playful grin, gesturing towards the dining table.

"Mommy I miss him that's why," Nadiya replied to her mother while holding her father's hand.

"I also miss him but I'm not there disturbing him, come on Sweetheart let him have his food in peace," Mommy said.

"Alright then, let me serve him, Daddy, let us go to the dining," Nadiya said.

"I want to take a quick shower before I eat," Daddy replied.

"Okay, I will wait here," She quickly and simply responded.

Na'im came back home after he closed from work, upon entering the house, he saw a car parked in the parking space. He knew who the car belonged to which made him a bit angry.

He parked his car and went straight to his section.

What made him angry was that he wanted to go to his mother first before going to his section, as he promised to come back home early yesterday but he couldn't, he wanted to spend time with her. But the fact that these visitors are here, he wouldn't want to see their shoes, let alone their faces.

Upon entering his room, he kept his briefcase on the bed, removed his suit, and then took his phone to text his mother.

Na'im: I'm home Hajiya, sorry I couldn't come in to greet you because of the visitors, I will come when they leave InshaAllah.
