Lu Xingjie stopped in his place and held the book tightly.
"No, I won't."
The Devil King's anger grew.
"I said, give me the book."
"And I said, no." Lu Xingjie said firmly as he held the book even tighter.
"I will never give it to you."
"Okay, you don't want to give me this book (Devil King)."
Lu Xingjie looked down and looked at the book and the head priest.
"I'm leaving!"
He yelled and started running once again.
"Okay, Prince Lu Xingjie, what about Wang Yuan?"(Devil King)
Lu Xingjie stopped, his anger grew even more as he heard the Devil King talk about Wang Yuan.
"What do you mean?"(Lu Xingjie)
"If you don't listen to me, I will kill him." (The Devil King)
Lu xingji turned around angrily when he heard this.
"Don't touch him, how dare you talk about him." (Lu Xingjie)
He held the book so tightly that he could break it at any moment.
"Oh really, Prince Lu Xingjie, do you want to see a scene?" (Devil King).
Lu Xingjie narrowed his eyes.
"What do you mean by scene?" (Lu Xingjie)
"Look your behind , Prince Lu Xingjie"
(Devil King)
Lu Xingjie looked back, his eyes widened in fear as he saw Wang Yuan, blood stained his chest, he was barely holding on to life.
"Don't listen to him, he is controlling your mind and emotions, quickly throw this book into the sacred pond" (Wang Yuan).
His heart shrank when he saw Wang Yuan barely holding on to life, he felt like fighting and throwing the book away, however, after seeing Wang Yuan's smile and hearing his voice, he changed his mind, he remembered his duty.
".....I'll be back, Yuan. Wait for me..."
He said loudly and then turned and ran away.
Lu Xingjie kept running, his footsteps echoing in the darkness, with the moon above him, he stopped immediately when he saw the holy Pond.
"Wait, Prince Lu Xingjie, give me this book." (Devil King).
Lu Xingjie held the Book tighter and looked at the Devil King.
"I told you, no." (Lu Xingjie).
Lu Xingjie turned and looked at the holy Pond, the water glistening in the moonlight. He gently but carefully placed the Book inside the holy Pond, and he saw the water start to glisten.
"No......no......
What have you done, Prince Lu Xingjie?" (Devil King).
