It's a sunny day in Hope Town, and everyone is busy living their lives.

You might still be wondering how David knew the name Zoe. If he wasn't involved in the shooting, then how did he know? Or what did David do after he started liking my sister?

I was just as curious as you are right now. Since I have always been the kind of person who needs to know why, I decided to listen to what David had to say. I told him I wasn't buying the lie he told me last time.

He had no other option but to tell me the truth.

It so happened that my sister and David met at the hospital sometime back after he did some stalking. You know, like any other person, it all started with the talking stage and then... I was also amazed. I didn't realize how distant I was from my sister for me not to know such information.

Then my sister also fell for him. At least that's what he thinks, according to what he said. But my sister is hard to impress, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

But come to think of it again, it might be true. Amy would only reveal Zoe as her name if she trusts and likes someone, so he might be right.

The week all this happened (the shooting) was the week he planned on asking her out on a date and officially asking her to be his girlfriend.

What a love story I wasn't aware of!

"After all this, I'm not sure if your sister will ever look at me the same way, knowing my brother is somehow the reason for what happened to her," he said as he took a deep breath and sighed, then giving me a quick look before he could say goodbye.

Days passed, and I was glad the truth was finally out and the man who shot my sister was arrested.

Then, one of those days, I also decided to visit David at his bookstore and find out how Frederick was doing.

According to David, he said he was better compared to the last time I saw him. He was improving day by day.

We chatted for some time.

"I have something to tell you," I said before I could leave. I never had any plans of staying longer.

"You have a great young brother, and all he needs is just a little bit of love and support from you. He is just some misguided adolescent trying to find his place in this world and ended up turning to drugs as a way of feeling better about himself," I said, placing my hand over his.

"He loves you and just wants you to be present for him."

"I don't know how I can do that. I do not know how I can ever be the perfect older sibling like your sister. He is just hard to deal with," he said.

"Maybe that's the problem; you do not give each other room to love and grow without being hard on him. Try to first love him for being him and, with love, guide him," I said with a smile.

"He doesn't need you to be perfect." I smiled at him one last time and went out. I left the bookstore feeling like one of those 'wise ones' in movies. For the first time, doing the right thing was fun.

As if everything was now falling into place, a few days after talking to David, my sister was conscious and woke up from the coma. I was very happy.

She is still recovering, and I can't wait to tell her all that has been going on. Dad is also happy that she is now up.

This is an answered prayer. All I ever wanted.

I can't wait to find out how my sister's love story will end. Will they ever be, or the guy's chances are ruined?

Well, we do not know, but one thing is for sure: I will look out for my sister and support her decision.

"Who wants my special dish?" He asked.

It was one of those beautiful afternoons, we all decided to spend some time together.

"Who wouldn't love to?" Amy said as I set the table.

"I missed having such moments," I said to myself.

All happy and complete again.
