I walked out of my house, carrying my toiletry bag and a small backpack with some extra clothes for the sleepover. I was wearing my comfiest dusty pink sweatpants and a white baggy hoodie, paired with fluffy white shoes. I looked relaxed and cozy, perfect for a night of karaoke and hanging out with friends.
As I walked next door to Blake's house, I could hear the sound of music and laughter coming from inside. I took a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. This was going to be a fun night, but being around Blake always made me a little anxious.
I opened the door and walked in, calling out to my friends. "Hey guys! What's up?"
Kennedy and Ethan were setting up the karaoke machine in the living room, while Jade and Cody were chatting on the couch. Adelle and Blake were in the kitchen, making some snacks and drinks. I joined them, grabbing a soda from the fridge.
"Hey Castle, you ready to rock this karaoke night?" Blake asked, grinning at me.
I rolled my eyes, laughing. "I'll try my best."
We spent the next hour chatting and catching up, waiting for everyone to arrive and get settled. Finally, Adelle stood up and announced, "Okay, I'm going to start! Who's ready to hear me sing?"
Adelle walked over to the karaoke machine, adjusting the microphone stand to her height. "I'm going to sing 'Love on the Brain' by Rihanna," she announced, giving us a sassy smile.
We all cheered and clapped, and Adelle started singing. Her voice was amazing, powerful and soulful. We all watched in awe, tapping our feet and singing along to the lyrics.
When Adelle finished, we all applauded and whistled. "Wow, that was incredible!" Kennedy exclaimed.
Next up was Blake. He grinned mischievously and said, "I'm going to sing 'SexyBack' by Justin Timberlake."
We all laughed and cheered, knowing that Blake was going to bring his signature charm and swagger to the performance. And he did, dancing and singing along to the music with confidence and enthusiasm.
When Blake finished, we all cheered and clapped again. "That was so much fun!" Jade exclaimed.
Now it was my turn. I stood up, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. But before I could announce my song, Kennedy spoke up.
"Wait, Castle! Let's make it more interesting. Why don't we choose a song for you to sing?"
I hesitated, unsure if I wanted to give up control of my song choice. But my friends were all nodding and smiling, so I agreed. "Okay, fine. But choose a good one!"
"Sing one of your girls by The weekend and Jennie".Ethan says and the others also l agree.
I walk up to the stage, yes in blake's house there was a mini cinema.
I take the mike and the beat starts playing.
"Lock me up and throw away
The key.
He knows how yo get the best out of me.
I'm no fool for the world to see
Trade my whole life just to be
Tell nobody that l control l broke you just to own you
They cant tell that l love you
Cause you're loyal baby
I love when you are submissive
Love it when you break skin
You feel pain without flinching
So say it
Give me tough love
Leave me when l come down
My kinda love
Push me and choke me till l pass out.
We don't gotta be in love no
I don't gotta be the one no
I just wanna be one of your girls tonight.
We dont hotta be in love no
I dont gotta be the one no
I just wanna be one of your girls tonight.Push me out ,hold me down
Spit in my mouth while you turn me on
I wanna take your light inside
Dim me down,snuff me out
Hands on my neck while you push it out.
And l'm screaming out
Give me tough love
Leave me with nothing when l come down
My kinda love
Push me and choke me till l pass out
We dont gotta be in love no
I dont gotta be the one no
I just wanna be one of your girls tonight.
We dont gotta be in love no
I don't gotta be the one no
I just wanna be one of your girls tonight".l end the songMy friends start clapping.l catch Blake 's eyes and l wish l didnt.
As I finished singing "One of Your Girls" by The Weeknd and Jennie, my friends erupted into applause and cheers. I felt a rush of adrenaline and excitement, proud of myself for delivering a great performance.
But as I scanned the room, my eyes met Blake's, and I wished I hadn't. He was staring at me with an intensity that made my heart skip a beat. I felt like he could see right through me, like he knew all my secrets.
I quickly looked away, trying to break the spell. But I could feel his eyes still on me, burning with a fire that made my skin prickle.
"Wow, Castle, that was amazing!" Kennedy exclaimed, coming over to hug me.
"Yeah, you totally killed it!" Ethan agreed, high-fiving me.
I smiled and thanked them, still trying to shake off the feeling of Blake's gaze. But as I turned to walk away, I felt a hand on my arm.
"Hey, Castle," Blake said, his voice low and husky. "You were incredible up there."
I turned to face him, my heart racing. "Thanks, Blake," I replied, trying to sound casual.
But as I looked into his eyes, I knew I was in trouble. There was something there, something that went beyond friendship.
Please let me know how to continue!
[3/8, 21:30] Meta AI: Here's the continuation:I smiled and thanked Blake, trying to brush off the awkwardness. "Thanks, Blake. I'm just glad I didn't mess up."
He chuckled and let go of my arm. "You could never mess up, Castle. You're a rockstar."
I rolled my eyes, laughing. "Whatever, Blake."
The rest of the night was a blur of music, laughter, and fun. We sang more songs, told stories, and joked around. I made sure to avoid Blake's gaze, not wanting to read too much into it.
As the night wound down, we all decided to settle in for a movie marathon. Blake's mini cinema was the perfect setting, with cozy seats and a massive screen.
I snuggled into my seat, surrounded by my friends, and tried to focus on the movie. But my mind kept wandering back to Blake's intense gaze. I pushed the thought aside, determined to enjoy the rest of the night without overthinking things.
