[MY OG VERSION OF THIS WITH OUT DIBBLE/WELCOME TO CARE A LOT WAS SO MUCH BETTER 😭😭]
"Hey Grumpy!"
Funshine said waving hello as he walked through the doorway. Grumpy Bear lifted up his face shield and waved back.
"Hey Funshine," He replied. Funshine noticed how tired Grumpy had sounded and looked. "What's wrong?" Funshine asked as he moved closer to Grumpy and grabbed his hand, he blushed.
"Nothing! I'm fine! I was just up all night fixing Dibble's house!" Dibble giggled happily and Funshine rolled his eyes. "You need to stop staying up so late! Cuz then you're tired in the morning and then we can't hang out!".
Grumpy Bear folded his arms, even if Funshine was right he still refused to listen. "You should take a nap" Grumpy glared at him "I don't need to take a nap I have things to do today!" He complained "Plus I'm not that tired!". As soon as he said it he yawned "Uh-huh yep real convincing"
Grumpy rolled his eyes and put his face shield back on and continued working on his project, ignoring Funshine. "Fine be like that! But I'm still gonna get you to take a nap!".
Funshine sat down next to him but Grumpy pushed him away. This happened a few times before Grumpy gave up and let Funshine sit next to him. "Sooooooo what you working on? What you changing? What you fixing?" Funshine asked but Grumpy ignored him.
Funshine continued to watch Grumpy work while he hummed a tune and Grumpy continued to ignore it. "Are you suuure you don't want to take a nap?" Funshine asked, leaning over the smaller bear's shoulder "I'm sure!" He replied pushing Funshine away again.
He continued to work with a few yawns interrupting him from time to time. Grumpy could barely keep his eyes open and was blinking repeatedly to try and keep himself awake.
"Maybe if I just close my eyes for a second.." Grumpy thought "It'll just be for a second''. Grumpy finally closed his eyes and a few seconds passed but he didn't open his eyes, he had fallen asleep.
Funshine and Dibble responded by laughing as if to playfully say "I told you so!". He took off Grumpy's face shield and put it on a nearby table, then picked up Grumpy and Dibble, who was just as tired as Grumpy was, and took them to Grumpy's hammock.
He gently put Grumpy and Dibble down and he climbed into the hammock as well. Grumpy's red heart pillow was being used by Dibble but luckily Funshine's fluffy and soft belly badge worked as a perfect substitute.
Once he had gotten comfortable he placed his hand on Grumpy's cheek and his other wrapping around Dibble, who was lying on his shoulder, into a hug.
He turned his focus back to Grumpy Bear and looked down at him.
Grumpy, the bear that he had had a crush on for so long was now lying against his belly, cuddling with him.
Funshine Bear was normally very strong and confident but not when it came to asking out Grumpy he had been so scared of rejection that he never made his move, that was until now.
He kissed his forehead. "Sweet dreams Grumpy" he said as he shut his eyes and drifted of to sleep. <3
