The duty of a princess is to be the image of the perfect woman.

A woman who is easy to dominate for the king's command and fertile to produce heirs to the throne.

These are the only requirements necessary to be one, if we follow the logic of my parents and the court.

I would agree with these statements if I were an ordinary princess, but they seem to forget that I am Vidar Khaldblot, firstborn daughter of King Viggo Khaldblot II of the Ice Nation, the blood of warriors running through my veins.

But for the sake of the peace of the realms, I'm just the future wife and queen consort of the king of the Fire Nation.

Fire and ice are a dangerous combination.

Many would expect strife between two opposing kingdoms, but in times of war, you learn that it is best to keep your enemies on your side.

Our world is divided into six nations.

The Air Nation. A nation without a monarchy. They are known to be very secretive and do not get involved in any conflicts between nations, but their neutrality ends up being just as embarrassing, their distance from the conflict and their secrecy makes them nothing more than a terrifying and formidable enemy, especially when they are considered to be great sages and contain the oldest libraries. It is said that their mountains contain the best-kept secrets of mankind.

The Water Nation is arguably the safest territory in the world. They could be considered pacifists like the Air Nation, but they open their doors to the rest. The oceans are their territory, they basically own most of the world, but they believe in coexistence, although like the sea, you should never turn your back on it. Despite their cordiality, there are many secrets behind all their islands, pirates rule the waters at will, and it is said that mythological creatures live in the depths under the command of the monarchy.

The land nation. Like the Water Nation, they are pacifists, but at their own discretion. Currently, they have no conflict with any other nation, but it is known that they have an affinity with the Water Nation, as they are an extremely dangerous duo. We all appreciate that they keep their conflicts internal and not between nations. They are not known for being great fighters, but their connection to the land makes them great providers and excellent doctors. A very powerful alliance from a strategic point of view.

The Shadow Nation. Very few know about this place, it is the smallest nation and its location remains a mystery. They are extremely dangerous, being the best paid assassins and spies, you will never know where they come from and why they come, but for the peace of mind of many, you would have to have messed with the wrong people to end up on the radar of these mercenaries, they are not accessible at all.

The Ice Nation. We are second only to the Shadow Nation in population and territory. We are great fighters, our resistance to low temperatures makes us human weapons, we are not known for being good merchants or great strategists, but what we cannot give geographically or intellectually, we compensate with brute force and resistance.

And the Fire Nation. They are questionable. They are not great fighters, but of course they have virtues, first of all I have to admit that they know how to make up for their lack of military strength with alliances with other nations, only a good strategist knows how to recognize their weaknesses. And as a people they are creative and intelligent, much is said in books about their culture and their great monuments, art, music, and that they are great master blacksmiths. So much beauty hidden under the destruction that fire causes, it overwhelms me, but it fascinates me. And at the same time it repels me. So much power hidden beneath so much weakness is pathetic.
