prologue : escaping mercy hospital

Y/N: Fuck!!

That was the first thing that came to Y/N's mind, he was stood in the landing pad of mercy hospital, Zoey was stood beside him, Bill and Francis were busy rigging a couple of pipe bombs, all the while Louis stood by the radio to call the helicopter, after several tense minutes they were ready, guns loaded and cocked and still all he could think or say was,

Y/N: FUCK!

Zoey: FUCK ?

Y/N: we're about to fight for our lives and may not make it

Zoey: so you say fuck?

Bill: enough, the chopper is en'route

The five survivors readied themselves for the horde of zombies approaching, soon the first few appear slowly shambling, before seeing the group and breaking into a desperate sprint,

Radio: this is helicopter four zero alpha we are en'route  to your position

The zombies approaching the group spun away as their heads exploded, Y/N racked his shotgun As Bill took point in front of him, moments later more of the walking dead began to burst through the doors to the roof, they were soon shot by Francis and Bill.

Bill: stay tight people were almost out of here

Zoey blasts two zombies, she didn't notice the one sneaking up behind her, until it's head burst open, she looked over at Y/N and threw him a appreciative glance, finally she threw a pipe bomb causing a large group of zombies to bolt to it, finally the bomb explodes killing several of the zombies.

Radio: this is helicopter four zero alpha we will be with you in two minutes

A small round of cheers were heard as the five survivors fought the undead approaching them, soon a new sound was heard, loud, deep, roars, it was a tank.

The survivors braced themselves for the coming behemoth, they reloaded their guns and Bill lit a Molotov, it wasn't long before the tank burst violently through the doors to the roof, it roared and looked at the survivors hungrily before it charged at them, Y/N fired first, or was it Bill?, Neither of them knew maybe they fired simultaneously, either way the tank soaked their bullets like a sponge, it recoiled when Francis threw a Molotov at it, in that moment Francis, Louis and Zoey joined Bill and Y/N showering the tank with bullets, the tank groaned as it slumped over dead.

Francis: I hate tanks

Y/N: is there anything you actually like ?

Francis: well I ...

Bill: reload people! We don't have long before they are on us

The survivors reloaded their guns, seconds later the first of the zombies came through the destroyed doors, it was shot by Zoey, the zombie spun away in an inelegant display of blood and viscera, as the zombie hit the floor more stumbled through the doors, hundreds of them, in an instant they began their advance, the survivors began shooting, dropping zombies left and right, Y/N glanced at Zoey beside him, he turned back to the horde, focused on the task at hand surviving, though he figured it didn't matter how long or hard they fought the zombies would just keep coming, a slimy tendril wrapped around louis, Y/N turned and grabbed him with francis as Bill and Zoey shot the smoker, it exploded into a cloud of murkey grey smoke,

Y/N: lucky there Louis, we've all seen enough hentai to know where that would've gone,

Louis: thanks for the save

Y/N: *shoots a zombie point blank* no problem

The survivors retreated to the helipad as the horde of zombies advanced, Bill threw his Molotov creating a blaze of fire that for the moment contained the zombies and prevented them from getting closer to the helicopter.

Bill: choppers here let's go!

Zoey was the first to board the helicopter, she leaped aboard followed by Louis then Francis lastly Bill and Y/N, they'd been acting as rear guard, blasting any zombies that had managed to get through the fire, they both boarded the helicopter Bill first followed by Y/N, they slammed the door shut on the undead and the chopper took off, inside the five survivors sat in silence, until the pilot broke it,

Pilot: tell ya what Billy boy, looks like we found someone alive after all

Billy: yes John, looks like there's hope for humanity after all,

The pilot, now revealed to be named John grinned as he piloted the helicopter to safety

John: don't worry, were taking you to a military bunker, you'll be safe

Bill: military bunker?

John: yes man, theres soldiers and scientists there too

Bill: soldiers, how many ? who's in command ?

John: major Frank cooper's in command of a group of six soldiers of you count his second in command Henry Rhodes, there's a science team of three,Billy boy and me are the technical ones, I'm  the pilot and he's the engineer

Zoey: so we're safe ?

John: yes ya are

The group sat in silence again as they flew to the military bunker John mentioned.
