"Alright Naruto we will now begin training for the super awesome secret technique of toad summoners. This is the ultimate technique to have in your arsenal because it can completely change the outcome of a battle. This technique is only possible for toad summoners or snake summoners. I am the only one who is able to use it at this time, Sage mode" Jiraiya explained, smirking as Naruto's eyes grew wider and wider with excitement. As much as his blonde apprentice hated his tendency for dramatics, she was eating it up in this case.

Unable to hold in her excitement anymore, Naruto jumped up to stand in front of him. "Let's do it Ero-sennin!" she exclaimed, doing a little dance around the tall toad sage.

He had to chuckle at her enthusiasm. "Naruto calm down. You know the drill, first you need an explanation. There is a lot we need to go over before you can even try to learn sage mode" he chided her, grinning at her pout.

The blonde wilted dramatically, plopping down on her butt and sitting down quietly. She made quite the picture of reluctant attentiveness.

"Okay listen up!" he started imperiously, making Naruto roll her eyes. Noticing her sassing, he lightly socked her on the head.

Naruto scowled at him, but remained silent.

"Only those who already possess extreme chakra levels can utilize natural energy to invoke senjutsu. Even without considering Kyuubi's enormous chakra, you have an already substantial amount so this isn't something we will need to worry about. Your large chakra is due to your Uzumaki vitality. The Uzumaki clan were well known for their prowess in sealing and their vast amounts of chakra, which is what gained them so many enemies" Jiraiya explained, pausing to see if she understood. "Another condition is that the users body must be strong. Orochimaru was also able to use sage mode before he deteriorated his body through experimentation" he stated gravely, a frown crossing his face at the memory of his old team-mate.

Naruto frowned as well. "I thought you said you were the only one who knows it?" she questioned, frowning at the elder man.

Jiraiya's expression cleared. "I never said I was the only one who knows it, just that I'm the only one able to use it, at the moment. Orochimaru lost the ability completely when he started using his body transfer jutsu. His host bodies were not strong enough to support the gathered natural chakra" he elaborated.

Naruto nodded thoughtfully, making Jiraiya smile. 'It's amazing how much Naruto has grown from the little gaki I first met. Just look at that no outbursts, or stupid questions'.

'Doesn't mean I can't rile her up' he thought evilly. "Alright! Listen up Gaki!" he shouted, breaking her from her thoughts and startling her.

Naruto shot him a dirty look, scowling at his obvious amusement.

"This part is important, nature energy is complicated stuff. The user is has to balance his/her physical and spiritual energy with the natural energy he/she gathers from nature. If the user puts too little natural energy into using senjutsu, the technique will not work" he explained. "Alright I'm going to get my teacher to help you" he stated decisively, "You've met Fukusaku and Shima on your first day of training here. Fukusaku will be the one to train you" he clarified.

Naruto jumped to her feet. "Pervy sage! How dare you shirk my training on to someone else" she ranted, making him laugh.

"I'm not shirking anything Gaki. Fukusaku is the one who trained me and he has asked to train you as well. For certain reasons he is more qualified than I am for this training" Jiraiya explained cryptically.

Naruto sighed. "Fine, you better not be doing that disgusting research while I'm busy training" she demanded.

Jiraiya chuckled boisterously, "Oh ho ho. Naruto-chan, a man has to do what he has to do. My readers are getting very demanding for a sequel. I'm thinking of calling it Icha Icha Sex-change-" he singsonged, only to cut off dodging a lightning fast round-house.
