I panted, back arched as pleasure radiated through me. Nasos placed tender kisses along every inch of my spine, all the way down to my ass. I moaned his name, begged him to keep going, to give me more. His tongue was amazing, but I wanted something else inside me right now.

"Nasos!"

My eyes snapped open. My fan was spinning for all it was worth on the ceiling. My room was quiet. The soft light of the rising sun filtered through my curtains.

I rubbed my face and groaned. I'd been having wet dreams about Nasos ever since that night that he invited me over to his apartment. It would probably be easy enough to text him to come over for a booty call, but something held me back. Things were just getting more and more complicated with Nasos. We really weren't dating, but we really weren't just friends or even just friends with benefits. I wasn't sure if I even wanted us to actually be dating.

I sighed and rolled out of bed. This was way too much thinking for this early in the morning. At least it was Friday.

We had surprisingly few tickets for a Friday, but every single one I worked on seemed to take me twice as long as usual. I rubbed my face in an effort to wake myself up so that maybe this time I'd actually be able to read whatever the hell my current ticket said.

Bera rolled her chair next to mine and placed a hand on my shoulder. "You seem distracted lately," she said, the concern evident in her voice. "Are you feeling alright? You're not feeling sick, are you?"

I sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm not sick, I promise. I just haven't been sleeping well lately."

"Why haven't you been sleeping well? I thought things were going well with that boy you've been seeing?"

I bit back the obvious joke. Bera wasn't one for crude humor. "Things are going well. Weirdly well, actually."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, he's just so... respectful? Considerate? He actually seems to care a lot about my wants and needs, which I'm just now realizing probably shouldn't feel weird, but it does."

"It sounds like he's a really good guy for you, Seth."

I looked away. "Maybe he's too good for me."

Bera frowned. "Don't say things like that. You deserve a good man. If he can be that for you, then you definitely deserve him."

I sighed again but tried to force a smile. "You think way too much of me, Bera."

"You just think way too little of yourself. I wish you would be a little kinder to yourself."

"I'll try. Thanks, Bera."

"Of course."

She rubbed my back comfortingly before rolling her chair back to her computer. The end of our shift couldn't come quickly enough, but I was glad that Bera was my cubicle mate. I couldn't imagine doing this job without her.

At long last, the clock ticked over to 5 PM, and I escaped from the mind numbingly beige office into the evening daylight. It was cooler than last week, but the summer sun was still oppressively warm. I'd undoubtedly be absolutely drenched in sweat by the time I made it to my apartment.

"Seth!"

I whipped towards the sound of my name and was surprised to find a very happy looking Nasos walking towards me. "Nasos! Did I miss a text from you?"

"No, I wanted to surprise you, that's all."

He wrapped me in a bear hug, which probably would have been nicer if it weren't so hot outside. "Alright, I'm happy to see you too, but it's too damn hot for this!"
