"Jiang YueMing!" He called as the huge snake also got back to its senses, lounging itself at the boy, it's fangs in full display, as he could still see through the lit talisman he'd earlier discarded.
The creature's eyes shone a bright yellow similar to a sunflower's petals on a snowfield, it's glare pierced YueHao's soul as he defended himself with ZhiYuan, a loud clang sound reverberating across the cave as its blade met with the snake's strong fangs.
He heard a muffled call just as he jumped back from the contact. The snake was fast and rash with it's attacks, not giving him space to analyse the situation or relax - its fighting style was the opposite of all that he was!
He kept defending the monster's every attack, while trying to find an opening to counterattack.
At the same time he analysed the creature, the snake had bright blue scales, its body was long and wide, stretching over the length of the cave Yuehao stood in, yet, he couldn't see the end of it's tail, nor was the visible end of its body narrowing in any way, which meant it probably stretched for a couple good feet beyond what his eyes could see.
It held itself up, so the head stood around 6 meters tall, well over three times the height of the boy clad in purple. Its fangs were yellowish, and stood glaring proudly at him from the open mouth of the snake as it continously attacked him.
The underpart of its body was adorned on a blueish white colour, this part had less scales - Yuehao had come to figure this part would be weaker as it wasn't protected by the seemingly steal-made unpiercable scales of the organism.
Just below the crown of its head, were its face curved to meet the neck, was a hollowed out spot where the soft skin dented laying in the center of the neck - seemingly being held by nothing like the rest of the wrinkly tissue.
The moment his eyes locked in on the prize he was attacked once again, having placed himself defenseless by his extensive analysis of the creature in search for a weak spot.
He was thrown back into the wall of the cave, his eye widening upon impact as he could feel the air of his lungs be forced straight out. He fell to the ground, just barely saving himself from falling face first, as he spat out a mouth full of blood.
His face was covered in a thin layer of ice and snow as he stood back to his feet, looking up at the snake as it aproached him once more. His limbs were freezing under the negative temperatures of the cave, his body's trembling not being of any help in holding the slippery hilt of his also frozen sword.
Yuehao dodged the next attack of the snake, the latter aggressively biting into the icy wall the former had previously been rammed into.
The boy rolled across the icy ground, his purple robes now covered in white snow. He stood tall moments after, invoking a fire talisman on his hand and slamming it on the ground, causing a huge flame to burst out on the floor in front of him distracting the snake as he backed out sheating his sword before removing his daggers from were they sat sheated on the right side of his belt.
He held FēiZhěn* on his left hand and Houyàn* on his right, positioning himself in perfect Yunmeng Jiang fighting stance. His grey eyes narrowed glaring across the vermilion flames at the blue snake's fumbling as it attempted to attack the fire which, by now had began to die down.
He took a deep breathe raising Houyàn, whispering spells under his breath. The blade of the dagger turning a heavy red, incantations appearing along its lenght in a light yellow shade. The same mirrored on FēiZhěn, which stood lower along his waist, just that it shone a deep yellow and the incantations a serene white - summoning fire and thunder, just like the names of the daggers indicated.
