Today was the day Amara actually had to go to her moms house. Last time she blew it off cause she started her period and she didn't feel like it.
" come on mama you gotta go this weekend" jay said getting the rest of her stuff in her moms car. Even tho jay gotta girlfriend and Kiara got a boyfriend they still decided to stay friends to have Amara have a connection with her mom.
"Bye papi, I'll see you later" Amara said giving jay a kiss and a tight hug. She said bye to her uncles and got in the car. Kiara's boyfriend Evan was in the front so she sat in the back. " hi baby, you hungry" Kiara said looking in the back seat.
" yea I want McDonalds please mami" she said getting her phone out. Jay and Kiara both agreed to get Amara a phone so that she could call them if she needed to or in case or emergency. She does have social media but it's private and her parents have management. Jay was hesitant because of what happened last time and he wanted to hide her from the world.
" ok my love whatever you want" Kiara said driving towards the McDonald's by the house. " fuck no I don't want no McDonald's" Evan said. " I don't care what you want I asked my daughter" Kiara said pulling up in the drive thru. " i miss papi" she whispered. She's still not used to going to her mom's house.

Amara got her chicken nugget meal with bbq sauce and a blue raspberry freezie. " I don't care if you didn't want McDonalds I got what my daughter wanted." Kiara said driving to the house. " you really gon choose your daughter over me?" He asked raising his voice. " nigga is that even a question?"
He gripped onto Kiara's wrist hard bruising it. "Ow nigga get your hands off me before I get my weapon." She said snatching her hand away. " oh you mean the weapon I took from you and it's at my house now? That one?" He said grabbing his gun from the compartment. Kiara looked scared and looked in the mirror to see Amara watching Netflix and eating her food with headphones in.
She thanked god that amara had headphones in so she didn't see or hear any of this. " put that gun away my daughter is in the car" she said pulling into the driveway. Evan put the gun away.
"Keep talking like that and you gon get real hurt right in front of your daughter" he said getting out the car.
Kiara looked like she was gonna cry. "Come on my love we home." Kiara tapped Amara.
They got inside and Amara decided to watch tv in her room. " come on baby I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you." Evan said hugging on Kiara. " no you threatened me and put my daughter in this, ima sleep in the guest room tonight." Kiara said walking away. " baby let me fix this please I'll make you feel better" he said kissing on her neck.
