people started rumors about Cc and Cairo being together, seeing them so close and affectionate.

Everyone was all excited about the rumors of them dating, but they didn't know that the rumors were true. They were dating. Cairo found it amusing. All the guys who were once dying to date her were completely devastated, knowing now that she was taken by someone else. She never thought she'd enjoy having a relationship so much. She could care less that she was the "bad girl" that everyone wanted to date but could never get. She had Cc now, and she was so happy about it.

She felt like she could be completely genuine now because she knew that Cc was someone who actually cared about her. She didn't have to put up a front to try and impress her or make her want to date her, she was already yours, and Cc was hers. And that was all she could ever want.

LUNCH

Now Cc and Cairo were sitting at lunch together as usual, Cc was of course telling Cairo everything that happened during practice or something she saw and Cairo just sat there, listening.

Cairo was listening intently to everything Cc was saying. She liked seeing her happy and excited, it was cute to her. She took pleasure in watching Cc babble about her day and her life. She thought to herself that she was adorable. She let you talk away as she sipped from her drink. She loved watching the way Cc's eyes would light up when she talked about something exciting that happened, whether it was something to do with her life or something she saw that day.

She found every little thing Cc did adorable, and every single word she spoke was incredibly captivating to her. She knew deep down within herself that she could listen to Cc talk for hours, as she was completely smitten with her.

"Wait, have you heard the rumors of us dating???"  The blonde said, still confused

"Oh God yes," Cairo said, rolling her eyes. "It's all I've heard the past few days. A part of me is laughing because all the guys who wanted me now have to face the fact that I'm off limits now"

Cairo chuckled as she thought about all the guys who once tried to flirt with her, but now have realized that they can't have her. "Honestly they're all devastated. I'm surprised none of them have tried to fight you for me yet"

"Probably will soon..."

"Well I'll have your back" Cairo said with a smirk. "Besides, I've fought boys for less, I'm more than capable of protecting your ass"

She took another sip from her drink, giving Cc a smirk. "And I'll do it with pleasure too. I wouldn't mind kicking ass to save your pretty face"

"You'll get in trouble!" Cc said in a worried voice, she didn't want Cairo to get in any more trouble

Cairo chuckled a bit and shook her head. "Darling, this is high school. I've gotten in more trouble than you probably know of. It'll take a lot more than a fight to get me expelled"

Cc looked a bit sad hearing that, "But I don't want you to get expelled..."

Cairo's expression softened when she saw that Cc looked upset. She reached over and grabbed her hand, squeezing it. "Hey, don't worry about it. I'm not planning on getting expelled anytime soon, okay? I still gotta graduate"

Cairo gave Cc a reassuring smile. "Besides, I'm smart enough to know when to stop before things get too out of hand. I'll be careful, okay?"

"You promise?"

"I promise" Cairo said firmly, looking into Cc's eyes. "I swear, I won't do anything reckless that will get me expelled, okay?"

Cc nodded her face lighted up a bit
