She glanced over at Cc, wondering how she were feeling about this situation. She could see the nervousness and tension in Cc's expression and knew that Cc were probably just as uncomfortable and scared as she was.
"We were just-" She tried to explain, but Cc's mom cut her off again.
"Save it. I don't want to hear it right now," Cc's mom said, her voice stern.
Cairo fell silent again, feeling even more nervous and embarrassed than before. She could practically feel Cc's mom's disappointment and anger radiating off of her.
Cc's mom didn't approve Cairo since the first time they met considering Cc's mom had heard a lot of bad things Cairo have done
Cairo knew that Cc's mom had never really approved of her, and this situation was probably only making things worse. She could imagine all the negative things Cc's mom had heard about her and she felt a pang of regret and guilt.
Cairo looked down, unable to meet Cc's mom's gaze. She could feel the tension in the room and it was making her heart pound in her chest. All she could do was wait for Cc's mom to start speaking again.
"Come with me downstairs." Cc's mom said as Cc followed her mom down and left Cairo to wait upstairs
After a long lecture downstairs, Cc's mom finally agreed to let Cc go out with Cairo—on one condition: Cairo must promise that she won't be a bad influence on Cc.
Cairo exhaled a sigh of relief as she heard that Cc's mom had agreed to let Cc date her. But her relief was tempered by the condition that she had to promise not to be a bad influence on Cc.She felt a mixture of happiness and pressure at the same time. She was happy that your mom was finally allowing her to be with Cc, but she also felt a weight of responsibility on her shoulders now.
After that Cc came upstairs and continute to study with Cairo for the upcoming test
As Cc returned to the bedroom, Cairo tried to put aside her worries and focus on helping Cc with her test.

Ik it's super short but I spented most of my time planing PIPTARA and the murder plot bc I want to make the murder plot as detailed as possible and I'll update this book again prob tomorrow or Sunday xx
