Andrew Kurt Magllana, a 12-year-old orphan boy, uses his All-Spent App on his phone, which contains unlimited electronic money. Primarily, he uses his phone to cash out 30,000 pesos daily to buy food, water, and pay bills for his house. The excess money he keeps, sometimes buying expensive and high-quality clothing, shoes, and a high-grade bicycle. He enjoys spending his unlimited money for his own amusement because of the incident that happened to his parents, who both died in a car accident. He wants to ease the pain by indulging in the luxury of his unlimited money.
Sometimes when he buys things, a cashier is quite suspicious about how he spends his money at such a young age. He usually explains that he inherited his wealth from his parents. At home, while watching TV, he gets inspired by superheroes who don't have superpowers but use their wealth to their advantage. He starts planning to be like one. Andrew is an electronics enthusiast like his father, making battery packs and being computer savvy. He starts watching videos that can help him build an off-grid solar setup, so that he won't have to keep paying the electric bill, thereby preventing further suspicion about him despite being an orphan without a job.
He buys several power tools to aid his work and compensate for his lack of skill and physical stature, making the job easier for him. The delivery arrives after a few days. He purchases power stations, solar panels, high grade rechargeable batteries with miscellaneous items, and power tools. The delivery man is shocked that it was ordered by a kid. After two weeks, his entire house is completely off-grid, and he is amazed at his own work.
His next project is a water filtration system because he also wants to be independent from the government water system. He again watches videos related to his next project. Once decided, he orders ten water tanks and all the necessary equipment and materials for his project. He hires men to assist in digging a well as his water source and installing the filtration system. After a week, his house is completely independent of the government water source. All he needs to sustain is his food, but the All-Spent App will compensate for it.
For his final project, inspired by superheroes, he wants an underground headquarters that will also serve as his house. He contacts hired men for the job to make his plan a reality. He creates a plan and uses the alibi that it was his father's last wish for his son, but in reality, it is Andrew's plan. The hired men say that as long as they're paid, they will do it. Five months pass, and his underground house is done. He transfers almost all the power stations to his underground room and installs solar panels near his underground base.
The base includes a bed, a centralized air conditioner, seven fans for ventilation, a bench press barbell set, a mini boxing gym, a treadmill, and a stationary bicycle. It has a lavatory area, a dining room, and a kitchen. He buys two big freezers and one refrigerator for food storage. The base also has three smart TVs for his CCTV room, and he installs CCTV cameras in his main house. Finally, his favorite room is his electronics room, where he makes battery packs and imitates other electronics projects from videos. His underground base is about 40 sqm, and his main house is 70 sqm and two stories high.
The day comes when he celebrates his 13th birthday. He celebrates by making his own cake and pizza and placing his family picture on his table. Even though he enjoys his luxurious life, it can never take away the pain of what happened to his parents.
Going back to the day before the incident, they were a happy family. Despite their busy schedules, Arvin and Sasha always made time for their son. After work, Arvin taught Andrew how to repair phones and computers as their bonding activity, while Sasha, who was a baker, taught him how to bake pastries and bread.
Andrew studied at an international school. Although he wasn't at the top of his class or even in the top 10 out of 40 students, his ranking ranged from 32 to 35. According to his professors, making it to the first section required senior high school-level intelligence, even though they were only 12 years old. So, Andrew was no slouch. Each grade level had five sections, and sections 4 and 5 were on par with local school standards. And he's in the 1st section. Graduating from this school meant being more than equipped to venture into college.
His parents didn't mind whether he aced the rankings or not; as long as he was happy, they were content. Even though Andrew enjoyed baking and electronics, his parents didn't expect him to be a mini version of themselves; they wanted him to explore his own interests.
One day, when they were about to leave, Arvin borrowed Andrew's phone for about an hour. Arvin called Sasha to their room while installing something on Andrew's phone. Their son complained about the delay, as they were about to be late. After that, his father gave his phone back and said, "I installed an app on your phone that has unlimited money. Promise me to use this for good." Andrew was astonished by the app that his father had made. In exchange, his parents would not let him go to school for his safety; he was only allowed to go when accompanied by them. Andrew wasn't too upset about being prohibited from going to school if he had that unlimited money.
Weeks passed, and he used his app to buy his favorite drones and remote-control cars. Playing with his drones and RC cars became his hobby. One day, while he was alone, watching TV and playing with his toys, he saw the news that a truck had collided with his parents' car, and both had died. He shouted and cried upon seeing the news. For many days, he was crying and depressed. He realized that no amount of money would bring them back or replace his happiness.
After a few months of mourning, Andrew ventured out to the mall and visited the places where they used to bond as a family. He ate at their favorite restaurant and bought supplies from the grocery store. Back in the present, he looks at their family picture, shedding tears as he reminisces about the past.
