Late-Night Snack Run

One evening, after a particularly grueling day of work, Edogawa and I decided to take a break. We went to a nearby convenience store to buy snacks and sweets. The store was quiet, and we wandered the aisles, picking out our favorites.

Edogawa insisted on buying a ridiculous amount of snacks, claiming that "more is always better."

As we walked back to the office, bags of junk food in hand, we talked about everything and nothing. I remember laughing at his jokes and feeling completely at ease. The simplicity of that moment—the camaraderie, the shared laughter—was something I cherished deeply. It was a reminder that even amidst the chaos, there could be moments of normalcy and joy.

Reading Together

Another fond memory was one quiet afternoon at my apartment. I was engrossed in reading "Murder in the Family" by Cara Hunter, my favorite book, and Edogawa was sitting beside me, flipping through a magazine. I glanced at him and noticed how focused he was on my book. It was unusual for him to be so quiet and still.

I eventually asked him if he wanted to discuss the book, and to my surprise, he was eager to dive into the plot and predict what would happen next. We spent hours discussing theories and unraveling the mysteries together. It was one of those rare moments where we were completely absorbed in something outside of our usual work, and I loved that he could be so engaged in something I was passionate about.

The Night Under the Stars

One summer night, after a particularly successful case, Edogawa and I went to a park to celebrate. The sky was clear, and the stars were shining brightly. We lay on the grass, looking up at the night sky. Edogawa talked about constellations and the universe, his eyes sparkling with excitement. I remember feeling a deep sense of contentment as we talked about our dreams and aspirations under the stars. It was a peaceful moment that felt almost magical.
