As I laid on my bed watching the loud house, my phone started to ring. I didn't as were it at first because nobody had the Gold Card to call me but my sister and it wasn't her.

They called again so I decided it might be important and just went ahead and answered it, cause why you calling me this early anyways. Why is you even up?

"hello?" I said concerned.

"hello is this Gabby Williams?" She asked me.

"this is she." I said back.

"This is Amber Johnson with the Connecticut Sun management, we did some reviewing of your clips and the person you are off the court and we wanna invite you to be apart of the Suns family. You don't have to think about it right now but we do need to know by 9:00 AM tomorrow morning so that we can get everything together." The lady on the other end of the line said. I was so happy I didn't even have to think about it.

"Yea! Of course! Thank you guys so much for this opportunity! What do I need to do when do I need to fly out?" I said being ecstatic.

"we can get you a private flight out tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM, we'll have you a place to sleep so that you can get everything together and just make you feel welcomed. Thanks for taking up the opportunity. See you soon." The lady said.

"see you soon." I hung up the phone and literally had a whole dance party. After I got calm and collected, I called my sister. She was on FaceTime so I propped my phone up.

"hey sis, what's happening?" She said with worry in her tone. I don't know why everytime I call her she automatically feels like somethings wrong.

"I just got a call." I said smiling.

"from who?" She asked me.

"Connecticut Suns management. They asked me to come in." I said clapping. My sister smiled and cheered for me.

"I told you." She said smiling.

We talked about it more and then we just talked about what we're doing today. There's never alot to talk about cause we're always on the phone talking.

"is that, that girl again?" Mikey asked Jada. Which made me laugh cause he be so tired of us. Then we be talking mess like he ain't right there.

"and is." I said laughing.

"is if I was eating her ess right now and you called you'd wanna hear that?" He asked me laughing.

"dude you running out." I said laughing.

"but if it gives me my niece or nephew I meannnn..." I said laughing.

Me and gabs got off the phone and then I did yoga. She always makes fun of me for doing it but it's whatever. She's the one always stressed out so.

"Gabby just signed with the WNBA. I'm so proud of her." I said to my boyfriend Mikey.

"tuffff." He said nonchalantly.

"So what going on with you?" I asked him genuinely wondering.

"not shi, Ian got a chance in basketball no more so I'm really just here." He said picking his hair.

At practice, i was running drills, my mind was focused but distracted. Coach told us she had an announcement at the end of practice.

"Alright, everyone. I have some exciting news. Gabby Williams just signed with the WNBA, not just the WNBA though, she signed with us the Connecticut suns." Coach said starting the clap.

My heart just sank. I forced a smile, but inside, the happiness i felt for Gabby is overshadowed by a wave of nostalgia and pain.

I think this league is mentally trying to destroy me. The internet got the rest.

"Why does this hurt so much? I should be happy for her." I said to myself, I'm confused.

After we broke it down, I went right to the locker room. I didn't really wanna talk unless it was Ty. I put my clothes on then just sat down.

"ouuu Ty you got your nipples peirced?" Moriah asked.

"girl fawk no, my nipples just stay hard." She said back which made me laugh.

"I tried to get her to come with me to get them but she just came and watched she didn't get hers done." I said laughing.

"in all seriousness though, does anybody know anything about this new girl?" Alyssa asked.

Ty is the only one who knows that we dated because she's my best friend. Well, and one other person, Rachel. We tell each other everything and we know everything about each other.

"nope." She said getting dressed. She knows I never like to talk about her so she doesn't engage in conversation about her or bring her up.

I waited for her to finish and then we walked out together. We rode together because she stayed at my house. We got in my car and the car ride was basically silent until she talked.

"you know you can't just avoid the girl forever right?" She said looking at me.

"I know; but I am gone avoid her for as long as I can, and if I don't have to communicate with her on the court then I'm not doing that either." She said back to me.

"you know that's not right nai." Ty said to me.

"what she did to me wasn't right but she still did it. You already know I hold grudges until I get my get back and I haven't got back yet so got back I will be getting." I said confusing her.

"girl please hush." She said laughing.

We talked more and then stopped and got food. She was just asking me questions to get me out of that I don't wanna talk to her stage. It worked a little but I still hate her guts right now.

"you gotta stop holding grudges. It's ruining your own peace hun." Ty said eating a wing. (A chicken wing).
