G⃞ a⃞ b⃞ b⃞ y⃞ I woke up to my alarm and started cleaning. I packed all my stuff up in boxes. Last night I realized if I'm gonna play for them that I have to move there.
Luckily I'm just flying out for the training so that they can see if they wanna pick me up. I checked my suitcase and bags to make sure I had everything I would need for my 2 weeks stay.
After that I got in my showered and took a long shower. I did hygiene and then waited on my driver. I made myself a coffee and then my driver came.
He asked me where I needed to go and I told him the airport. When he dropped me off I tipped in and walked in. After I went through security and got everything settled I texted my sister letting her know that I was on a flight.
❦ Dijonai ❦ I don't think the fact that gabby will be playing on my team has hit her yet. I feel like she should maybe try another team cause I'm still taking my precious time getting over her.
I looked at my watch and the time read 7:02 AM, I rolled out of my bed and went right to the shower. After showering and hygiene I made breakfast.
My phone started lighting up so I knew that somebody had woken the team GC up.

Alyssa- so you guys, i just got word from coach that new girl is here and she's gonna be at practice today.
Dewanna- don't call her "new girl" her name is gabby.
Ty- yay! I love new people!😇
Moriah- what time is practice again?
Ty- 9:30 AM. Not PM.
Nai- no sh*t Sherlock. 😂😂
Alyssa- 🤣🤣🤣
Dewanna- after practice, we're adding her to the groupchat. Cause I'm sure coach is gonna pick her up. She gave US a run for our money in the Olympics. 😌
Nai- why are we celebrating that again?😦
Alyssa- we're not she's just the addition we needed. 😉
I put my phone down and continued with breakfast. The time read 8:12 so I better be hurrying up. Ty should be here in a little while. I don't drive myself cause I should always get princess treatment. Or so I think.
After I ate; I admired myself in the mirror for a few minutes before Ty blew her horn, I done told her about that dern horn.
"you do know you have a phone right? That works." I said getting in the front seat.
"okay and?" She said getting a little sassy with me.
"you could've texted me and said "I'm outside" not woke the whole neighborhood up with your horn." I said getting sassy back.
"you do know you have a car right?" She said side eyeing me. Me not knowing what that had to do with anything.
"what does that have to do with anything tyasha?" I said getting federal.
"you could've just drive yourself and I wouldn't have to blow." She said.
We laughed and then we stopped at Starbucks for a drink. I didn't get coffee because it always gives me the bubble guts.
G⃞ a⃞ b⃞ b⃞ y⃞ I've really been taking taxis since I've been here. They aren't my first choice but I really don't have any other choice because I don't know anybody.
I've found a hotel for now which is only 12 minutes from the arena so that way I'll be able to get there quickly. I've been there and I've settled in a little bit.
I've been nervous ever since I thought about who plays with the suns that I didn't think about before. I know if I have to talk to her I'll owe her an explanation and that I don't have.
I promised her that we would keep in contact and I didn't hold up my end of the bargain. I just didn't wanna get more and more attached knowing we were getting farther and farther away.
I got out the taxi, paid her and went to the door. I took a deep breath with my bag in hand, a tall skinny legged lady let me in with her keycard.
"I'm Dewanna." She said walking side by side with me and holding out her hand.
"gabby." I said smiling and holding out my hand shaking hers.
"you look nervous." She said giggling.
"I am. Not to practice because I know I can play but because I don't wanna cause problems." I said shaking my head.
"why would you cause problems though?" She asked confused.
"it's a long story." I said shaking my head.
"how about you come over to my place tonight for dinner. Me and Alyssa would love to have you. Just so we can get to know each other." She said with me insisting.
"of course yea." I said as we walked in the locker room.
she helped find my jersey and cubby spot. It was just me her, Alyssa, and Rachel in the locker room. She introduced me to those two and we all got along really well. I just hope it can stay this way.
I sat down for a while stretching and then the door opened and I seen her. THE Dijonai Victoria Carrington. The woman I never thought I'd have to see again.
And she was with some girl whom might've been her girlfriend, a little short stud. I think she's a stud. They came in and started being loud and rowdy.
"this is gabby everyone!!" Dewanna spoke up.
I could feel my cheeks turn red and light up, I smiled and waved and the short stud smiled and waved back, introducing herself. Shortly after everyone came and we met each other.
Dijonai made with starkly clear that she knew me and that she wasn't missing anything, I knew she wouldn't be the happiest to see me.
❦ Dijonai ❦ Everybody met gabby and ty was getting in my nerves about her. I don't feel like I was too harsh, if she felt what I felt, if she was in my air Jordans she'd know what it felt like to be left behind like a PIECE OF TRASH the trash men forgot to get out the dumpster.
"she sexy as a mf though, I can't lie." Ty said warming up next to me.
"Thank you so much BEST FRIEND." I said rolling my eyes.
"hey, am I not allowed to be honest? Like the tattoos? The smile? The anime threw me off a little but that's fine cause she still look good as h*ll." She said not being ashamed.
We began practice, I feel like today is gonna be a good one. (Wasn't for me- a/n) I love having new people and combining our talents, but I don't know about this one.
