Before girls night

I heard the door opened as I finished applying my setting spray. I opened my eyes to see my husband standing by the door. His face had a visual confusion as to why I was dressed up in a black satin dress.

"Don't worry, I have a dinner date with my girls" I smiled at him as I stood up.

As I turned around to face him, I could see him getting visibly relaxed.

He then kept his office bag on the sofa, which is kept in front of the bed and walked towards me and I leaned on my vanity for support.

Even after a long day from work, he smells absolutely divine.

He now stands just a few inches away from me and looks me in the eyes, I craned up my eyes a bit to meet his.

"So beautiful, so mine" he says as he keeps his one hand on my waist and the other tucks in my stray hair behind my ear.

"But you are missing one thing. That will complete the look" and I got confused.

"What is it?" I asked softly as he was very close to me.

He gives me a wink and he walks away from me. And he walks to the washroom.

While I just stood there confused, I heard the faucet opening and I could figure out he was washing his hands.

He walks out of the washroom with a towel in his hand as he was wiping his wet hands.

"Babe, what is it? I will get late" I said as I looked at the watch on my wrist.

He keeps the towel down and removes his coat, leaving him in his simple white shirt and black trousers.

He rolls up his sleeves and a part of me knew he is about to rail me right now, but I had to act confused.

"Turn around and look at the mirror. I'll show it"

And I turned around and then he comes behind me.

"How can I.." he pauses, as his one hand rests on my waist and the other on the vanity, "let my beautiful wife go out without making sure..."
