Ritika POV

The first period was now over and then their was a 10 min brake before the next teacher would come. Priyanshi and Vivek rushed from their seats to meet me. They were sitting in the Right corner of the classroom. 

"Someone had their eyes glued to someone," Priyanshi teased with a mocking grin. I knew she must have caught me having a staring contest with the boy behind me.

 "Shut up," I muttered, feeling my cheeks heat up at her comment. 

"Ok, knock it off Priyanshi, we don't want to embarrass her on her first day" Vivek said with his usual calm and mature tone. I knew I could count on him to step in and ease the situation.

"Well, his name is Siddhant—one of the most handsome boys in the school," Priyanshi added with a sly smile. "Even the seniors try to catch his attention, but he never seems to react to anyone." 

Hearing this made my heart throb but soon was interrupted by Priyanshi's Comment, "I think he might be Gay, Ankush his best friend they might be dating, Who knows". 

Hearing this, Vivek tapped Priyanshi on the head, and they began their usual playful argument. When the bell rang for the second period, they went to their benches.

Then we didn't had any break.

During the lunch break I ate with both my best friends, and after that Vivek went to play basketball with his other friends and Priyanshi got busy with her club meeting. I was free so i started roaming around to find a quiet place to read one of my favorite books. 

Roaming around, I ended up in a library, with no one around I sat their. The place was quiet, with desks neatly arranged and shelves full of books. I kept my book on one of the table and begun exploring the books in the first shelf. It had all the mystery and thrilling books. I ran my finger along with the books and one book caught my attention: "The Enigma Code."

The book had a dark blue cover with a mysterious, intricate pattern that seemed to shimmer slightly. The title was embossed in silver, adding to its allure. 

Then I sat in one of the desk and started reading my book..... The place was pleasantly quiet. It was fun to read my book without the disturbance. 

After a while, I heard the bell rang, and I rushed to my class, not noticing that someone else had been watching me the whole time. As I hurried down the hallway, my thoughts were focused on getting to class, completely unaware of the eyes that had been following me.
