New meeting, new start

I kept in contact with Maya, we talked with each other very often, I told her about everything that was going on with me for the past months, she told me about our classes, what was happening in school, etc.

Today is the first day of high school. I'm very excited for that. I have imagined so many things about what will happen, will I be able to make friends, can I study like before?

Me: Hey May
Maya: Hey, how are you doing?
Me: Cool.
Maya: How have all been gone?
Me: Eh, fine, so listen:

<<I was standing in front of 5 huge basements. That is my new school. In France high school isn't just an ordinary basement, no, there are many basements with different styles.

I went to see in which class I was in and with who, that could help to know names of my future classmates. I'm in 2GT3 which means << 2nd general and technologique class number 3>>. I remembered some names like Alex, Noah, Zoe, Iris and Jules.

I entered the classroom and found a free seat next to the window and looked to the door to see who will enter next.
A guy with brown hair and brown eyes, tall, wearing a hoodie and jeans entered. Then another guy followed and after him another and another so everyone was now in the class. I couldn't stop looking at that guy, I learned that his name was Alex. By the way, our teacher told guys to sit next to girls. So cute and tall guy was sitting next to me. His name was Chris.

The bell rang so I was heading to the door when I suddenly bunched into something. It was Alex's back.

"Ay, oh, sorry, I didn't see you" I said with a small smile on my face.

"Oh really, I thought you wanted to feel how strong my back was"

"Excuse you?"

"I was glad to talk with you, but I really need to go, bye " and he left the classroom.

"What had just happened? Who does he think he is?" I thought, I was really angry.

"Don't pay attention to him, he is not someone with whome you would like to be friends with " a girl, Noah, spoke behind "I'm Noah by the way, you know you sit next to the most handsome guy in the school?"

"I really thought he was cute, but I'm not sure that he is the most handsome here".

"Do you mean Alex, yeah he is handsome, but his attitude isn't the best, but Chris,he is so different "

"I think you might have a little crush on him, uh?"

" Is it that obvious? I mean we have been friends for a long time but I don't think he feels the same way as me".>>

Maya: Oh hell yeah, that was very obvious even for me.
Me: I know 🫢, you see I'm not a relationship person but I gave her some advices.

<<" You know Noah, don't bother you with things like that, I mean if he likes you, that's good, but if he doesn't like you back, it doesn't matter, you are very beautiful and smart, I saw how you shone in class, you'll be able to find someone better. So breathe a little bit, you seem very stressed and depressed".

We went together to the cafeteria. I saw Leo there with a bunch of friends, and then I saw Alex, also sitting with lots of friends. Agh, after I saw him I felt like throwing up. Yes, maybe he is handsome but he literally is getting on my nerves.>>

Maya: Sooo is that Alex more handsome or more arrogant to you?🤭
Me: I really think that he is handsome, but Noah was right, the personality 🤮 and you know me, I don't appreciate people like that.
Maya: And what about Chris, I mean he invited you to seat with him and his friends, that might mean something.
Me: Noooo, if it means something for him, for me it's nothing. Besides, don't forget Noah.
Maya: Oh right, my fault 😔. Buuuuut imagine, what if he likes YOU, what will you do.
Me: Nothing. I already told you, I don't like him and neither does he. I just wish to have a calm school year without any problems🤞🏻.
Maya: I don't think your wish will come true but I am always by your side🫡.
Me: 🫡.

<< I was so happy, I had the best teachers, the classes were easy for me. I am very glad that the fact that I have changed a country, new language and new school doesn't affect my studys.

When I left the school territory, I saw some guys with their motorcycles, I think they were smoking but it's not my problem. So I went past them and again, there he was. All day he was staring at me. >>

Maya: Who was it? Chris?
Me: Yeah.😩
Maya: I've told you😭
Me: I know 😭 but I don't know what to do, honestly I don't even care, the only thing I care for is my grades, but I don't want to hurt him😭
Maya: Did he accompany you till home?
Me: No, cause I told him that I was waiting for my father. I hope Noah won't be mad, she is very nice and innocent, and if her love is just one-sided, it will probably hurt her feelings.
Me: Ok for now, and it's your turn, what happened today, were there new people, who are your classmates, do I know them?🧐🧐
Maya: Calm down girl, and listen.

A/N: Hi everyone, how are you? I hope you like the starting of the story. This is the new start for Chloe, I would say a nerd, but beautiful 🤓 but I think she point is right about guys, you don't need to care too much when you have to study, finish the high school, then the college time will come, many exams and no time for distraction.
