We were finally situated in the house. Everyone was hungry Diego insisted on ordering some wing stop for everybody. everyone argued back and forth with Diego saying no. But finally everyone agreed once my brother said he'd pitch in.
I was in the living room with Bella, Jasmine, and Monse talking about how the school year is almost over.
"What do you plan on doing this summer?" Bella asked.
I'm not really sure what I'm doing. Maybe leave for a while?
I shrugged
" I'm debating if I should volunteer at a horse rescue place or dog shelter."
"Ooh nice Jasmine."
"Well I was thinking of going to check out this writing program in Columbia university. I'm a senior now, soo I'm starting to check out colleges, besides Harvard"
"Monse! Good for you. Love that for you!" Jasmine says.
Monse chuckles and thanks her and starts to sip her drink.
"What about you Zey?"
"Well I honestly plan to just stay home all summer or maybe go on a trip for a bit." I answered
"Where to?"
"I'm not sure. I really want to go to Cancun."
"Oooh let's plan that trip."
Bella began to play music on her speaker and we all began to dance. Bella danced her way towards everyone giving each of us a shot from a beautiful Don Julio 70 bottle.
The boys casually walk in the room with the bag of food
I'm starving I could eat me some wing stop.
They placed the bags on the coffee table. We all took our place around the table ready to dig in.
Jasmine had grabbed plates and handed everybody their own. We all took our place around the table and begin to serve ourselves.
Everyone was happy, their smiles reached their ears. Their laughter filled the house.
I smiled at my group of friends. The only person missing is Oscar. I reached towards my phone to check if Oscar texted me.
Oscar's name showed on my notifications, I couldn't help but smile.
Oscar: mi morenita te amo. Te extraño but I've been busy. I'll see you soon. ❤️ (I love you. I miss you.)
I smirked and replied:
I miss you too, can't wait to see you. ❤️
I continued to eat my food and everyone had already grabbed seconds.
I took my last bite and headed towards the kitchen trash can to throw away my plate.
I made my way back to the group and they were starting to open up a bottle. Bella saw me walk in and her eyes lit up
"Zey take a shot bitch."
Bella runs towards me and brings the bottle towards my face and begins to pour some in my mouth. She raises the bottle up and lets me free.
"Ayo pour one up for me."
"Diego you just took one." Monse chuckles
Bella dances towards Diego and Monse and does the same to them.
"Drink up bitches." She sings as she gives Diego the last shot.
