3rd POV

It has now been two weeks since Muichiro was turned into a demon during his night patrol. He had now gained full control over his new abilities and had accommodated to his new form, and was deemed well enough in control to start going on missions again. Muichiro Tokito, was back on the battlefield.

He was ecstatic at the idea of going back on missions to fight demons, it was his sole occupation! So when he received his first mission since becoming a demon, you can imagine his reaction. Genya almost had to hold him down so he didn't jump too high and break the ceiling. He, along with Genya (Who transported him in a box like Nezuko) and Giyu were to go to a village further south to investigate on the numerous disappearances.

They arrived to the village the next day. Since it was still daytime they decided to find a place to stay in. This village was well aware of demons and so, they had a 'wisteria house' for slayers, so they entered without much difficulty. Giyu went to get food for everyone and Mui got out of the box. But he was bored, he needed action.

Once night had fallen, their search began. They started by going to the outskirts of the village, closer to the forest. When they passed the last house, Muichiro suddenly stopped in his tracks, he could feel a demonic presence nearby. Both Giyu and Genya looked back at him, before he ran off. They ran after him, realizing that he had found the demon. Just as they thought, when Muichiro stopped, they saw the demon in front of them.

Giyu unsheathed his blade as Genya took out his nichirin gun. The demon saw them and ran off sensing that one of them was a Hashira. Both males started running after him, But Muichiro stayed behind, he felt something else; blood. Lots of it. He started following the scent to it's origin, only to discover a half eaten corpse. He bent down to it, trying to get any info on the demon through the wounds the victim had received. Any clue on his Blood Demon Art or abilities, he stayed their for quite a while. Until he suddenly felt something hit him in the back of the head, he was thrown to the ground and turned around to see who had hit him, to see one of the villagers. He then felt something like a rope being tied around his neck like a lasso/noose, and pulled. With the air suddenly cut off from his lungs, Muichiro gripped the rope around his neck, trying to loosen it. While he was getting chocked by one villager the other one kept hitting him with his shovel, soon, more villagers joined in with farming tools of their own. They all started hitting him with their tools, all the while screaming "Die Demon!" at him. This went on for a few minutes, until Giyu and Genya came back from killing the demon from earlier.

The two slayers had just decapitated the demon they were after and were coming back to Muichiro who had stayed behind. But when they got back, they were faced with a strange and horrifying sight. Villagers, mobbing around something, or someone. When they got closer to the mob of villagers they started hearing yells and grunts of pain. Genya immediately recognized the voice, and rushed to the mob, Giyu following behind him, also having identified the owner of the voice. They rushed in and started pushing the many villagers away from their victim. Once the two reached the center, they were horrified at the sight before them; Little Muichiro, on his back, holding a rope tied around his neck, chocking him.

The two could also see many wounds that hadn't healed yet, and from the pale tone of Muichiro's skin, they could guess why; The villagers were using Wisteria on him! The two immediately rushed to him and cut the rope around his neck. Genya hugged his lover tight to try and reassure him while Giyu talked to the villagers and explained about Muichiro. The villagers then went back home, mumbling about 'trustworthy demons' and much other, but in the meanwhile, Muichiro hadn't stopped crying.

He was still clinging to Genya crying all the tears his body held. The two older males knew that this would leave a mental scar on the young Hashira, after all, he was the youngest Demon Slayer in the Corps, being about five months younger then even Nezuko. This was going to be difficult for the young Hashira to get past.
